A SECRET WAREHOUSE

"Teacher, in what position, currently, has the most members?" Adrianne asked with her one hand raised midair.

Olivia smiled at the child. "Right now, the one that has the most population was the Vamphirs. The Aere can number up into several thousand. While the Myriad was already a hundred plus."

Thousands?! There were already several thousand capable of controlling the elements! And there were already hundreds that can one control more than one?! How did this happen thing happen?!

When she was still alive as a queen, she could control how the things in her kingdom would work. And knowing this information, was four hundred years enough for them to be strong? Impossible!

If this was true, then it looks like her revenge will be long overdue!

Adrianne's mind became confused when she learned of the big change happening in her world. She still couldn't figure it out— how such a thing would occur. She was busy reading a book while sitting on her bed in their bedroom She wanted to know the secret of the power of the Vampires.

"Abigail, are you coming?" Mady asked her. The girl was wearing a padded jacket and looked like was preparing to go out.

Adrianne's eyes glance over to the girl's direction after hearing her words. She looked at the child immensely, as well as, glancing over to the window behind Mady.

The sky was already dark. It was already 8 in the evening as stated on the round clock hanging on the wall.

"Where were you going?" Adrianne curiously asked back. They were strictly forbidden not to go out at night.

"Sharon was challenged to a fight earlier when the kids were in the canteen, didn't you hear it?" Mady explained. "They'll meet outside, in the woods, near the school grounds."

"What has that got to do with me?" rolling her eyes, Adrianne asked the girl. She looked at Aella who was already lying on the bed, looking at them with puzzled lingering in her eyes.

"Of course, to support Sharon! We don't know if those bratty kids will harm her."

Adrianne looked at Mady from head to toe. She didn't know how would Mady help Sharon? In their case, the built of their body was just similar. They were both small compared to the kids from the canteen earlier.

Because those kids were here since they came out from this world, they would naturally grow better. Even though they were only ten years old, they were bigger and stronger compared to the children who came from the outside world.

She can see that nothing good would happen in that meet-up.

"Just go to sleep," Adrianne stated. "You shouldn't join a fight that has nothing to do with you. Do you want to be scolded?"

"B-But, Abigail…" Worried flashed through Mady's eyes, hearing Abigail's words.

"She decided to go there so she should be prepared for what will happen. Don't get involved in their fight if you don't want to be punished. Especially if you were still weak. Remember that they've been here more than us and you just came now. How can you even protect yourself?" Adrianne reminded the child as she turned her attention to the book she was reading.

Mady was suddenly startled by Abigail's reminder. She wanted to go to Sharon, but Abigail was right, she didn't have the strength to help her friend. Feeling defeated, she changed her clothes, and forcefully, lay down on the bed.

Adrianne sighed. She patiently waited for the two children to fall asleep before she decided to go to the forest nearby. She's not going there for the kids' fight, she's there to gather some energy coming from the moon.

And also, to seek a goddess who can give her the holy water. After all, she couldn't waste her time on useless things.

But in the past nights of her search, she found no trace of the fairies living among the forest. They suddenly disappeared and she was puzzled to know why. There used to be so many of them, but now they were already hard to find.

Did the Vampires have anything to do with it?

Adrianne silently went out of the building that she was currently staying in and quickly entered the forest. Since this land had once belonged to her family, it was only natural for her to know the route of the place. Even the ones where she had to hide so that the roaming Vampires would not see her.

Her short legs were nimble in terms of running. She used a small percentage of her energy to help her with the wind as she ran. She used the darkness to hide.

She could feel the thick energy coming from the trees and the ground. Adrianne stopped at the middle where a circular garden with wildflowers could be found. She sat in the center and closed her eyes. She guided the energy around into coming to her little body.

Given the things that had changed to the Vampires, she now needs to double up her efforts on regaining the power that she lost. Adrianne needs to make sure that she will be ready for her enemies. She also needs to be careful not to be noticed by those Vampires before everything was ready for her.

Adrianne spent three hours in the same position before she thought of returning back. But she noticed a strange sound. Because she wanted to be careful, she used magic to strengthen her senses. Even from a distance, she could still hear the strange sound.

Adrianne carefully goes after the path as she followed where the sound was coming from. She stopped and hid in a large tree with tall grass a few minutes later.

Not far away from her, she saw three white vans arriving at the side of the forest. It stopped at a small building. Hidden behind the large trees. In Abigail's world, the building can be called a 'warehouse'. It was made out of pure wood and seems to be old.

Going out of the warehouse, five men in their hundreds emerged. They have large bodies and Adrianne thinks those Vampires were part of the Vamphirs.

They opened the van, telling those who were inside to come out.

Adrianne's blood suddenly boiled when she saw who was inside. Children under ten years of age, with their hands tied behind their backs and their mouths, gagged. The children's faces were full of fear and their bodies were almost trembling.

Some of the children did not want to get out of the van so they were violently dragged into the warehouse.

The men let the children inside the building. After making sure everyone had entered, they closed the warehouse, and the vehicles left the area. The Vampires guarding were left outside, while the others went inside.

Adrianne retreated from the tree she was hiding. She could not understand what the Vampires were thinking. Why did they need to abduct those Children? And most of all, these kids came from the other world. What do they intend to do with them?

It looks like she needs to investigate carefully about what was going on.
