A CREATURE CALLED BEOX

On the west side of the school, animals called Beox gathered in the depths of the forest. Beox were species with a high level of intelligence compared to others. They were comparable to a normal person. They have the ability to think about a plan and deceive enemies.

Currently, Adrianne's entire class has gathered at the said place.

"Hwa~ It's my first time to go to this place!"

"It's like we used to camp at school!"

The children were full of excitement as they looked around the area. The rest of them pulled out their cellphones and took a picture.

In the middle of the forest, there was a large wooden house standing still. It has two floors and a wooden roof. It was spacious enough, yet it does not have much furniture. Only the kitchen was fully equipped.

"You're here to practice. Everything you need was already inside the house." 'This was what teacher Olivia said before she left the students inside the forest. The woman did not say when she would return.

For Adrianne, it was a punishment to their group. The forest was full of wild animals. Surely one by one they will be killed. Was this what those Vampires want?

It all started because of the kids fighting in the canteen. From their first day at school, the young vampires were looking at them coldly. They think of them as an outsider. Because when comparing the two races, those students knew, that they have more knowledge and can easily bully those who came from Abigail's world.

After all, families that flew to the outside world were considered traitors.

The night Adrianne came out, Sharon returned with some children. Their faces were worn out as their bodies were covered in bruises. As a result, the other children challenged the young vampires to a fight. The fight escalated and the entire canteen was destroyed.

The children with Adrianne sustained the most injuries in their bodies. But in the eyes of the teachers, they were still guilty. As a result, they were immediately thrown into the forest, here, to be punished.

But the kids didn't know it except Adrianne and the oldest in their group. Young men and women aged from ten to fifteen were talking inside of the house today. Maybe they were planning something to do.

"Wow! I saw a cute dog! Look, quickly!"

When Adrianne heard that, she immediately got up from sitting on the stairs outside the house. Her feet took a fast step, running towards the person who saw the dog. "Omg! This is so cute! Let's feed it with some foods!"

"Doggy, come here!"

"Look here, Doggy!" The kids excitedly exclaimed as they ran outside.

Adrianne saw the dog-like creature turning away. She quickly looked for a long branch and picked it up. The white animal then turned in the children's direction and they were abruptly startled at what they saw. In the middle of the dog's forehead stands a horn. It was as long as their little finger.

"Stay away!" shouted Ariadne.

After Adrianne successfully picked up a sharp branch scattered around the area, it was the same time for the dog to sprint and took a leap towards the children.

Thank goodness that Adrianne knew what to do. She immediately struck the long branch midair, hitting the creature towards the body.

"Oh no!"

"Abigail, why did you hit the poor dog?" Mady asked after seeing the horrible thing that happened to the animal.

"Do you want to die?!" Adrianne glanced over to the children.

The dog's body hit the nearby tree as it immediately fainted. Adrianne slowly walked in its direction, approaching the sleeping animal. Her small hands glide over the fur as she ended up touching the horn.

She showed it to the innocent children.

"If this creature stabs you, you all will die," she stated, rolling her eyes as she saw the children's faces getting horrified.

"And oh, don't worry, this is not a dog. This is a special breed of a creature that can only be found in here."

But the kids seem to not believe her words. "Abigail, are you sure?" Joseph in doubt asked as she stared at the girl sitting on the ground.

Adrianne looked up at the sky before taking a deep breath. She slowly opened the animal's mouth and showed them its sharp and pointy teeth.

It can be compared to the teeth of sharks who can cut you in just one bite.

"Wah! What was that?!" Aella exclaimed, horrified. Her mouth hung wide open as she unbelievably looked at the teeth that Abigail showed them.

"Do all animals here have horns? Then does that means we can see unicorns here?"

"I want to see unicorns!"

Adrianne couldn't care less about what the children were saying. She went inside the house and went directly to the kitchen area. She took out a sharp knife stored in one of the cabinets. In that scene, she was caught by three elders who were Julius, Mark, and Loreen.

"Abigail, what were you doing?" Loreen was the first one to ask, entering the kitchen with her brows furrowed in curiosity.

"What were you holding, Addy?" Mark followed.

"Wait, is that a beox?" With widened eyes, Patrick stared over the thing the kid was holding. "With a horn?"

Because of the noise, the beox that was in Adrianne's grip woke up. She was thankful that she was holding it on the horn, so it wouldn't escape even if the creature would wiggle around.

Leaving Adrianne with no choice. She quickly laid it on the table and with a knife on her knife, she cut off its head.
