BUMPING INTO SOMEONE

"Abigail, won't you come with us? It's already lunchtime, I heard that the training would take more than two hours. You might be hungry if you still don't eat."

Hearing what Mady had uttered, Adrianne's focus was disrupted by the noise. Quickly fixing her things, her gaze turned around to look at the person behind her.

"I'll follow later, you can both go now,"  Adrianne answered before standing up from her bed.

Mady and Aella nodded in unison after hearing what Abigail had said. They both left the room to go to the canteen where their lunch will be served.

After quite a while, Mady stopped walking to face Aella who was silently walking towards her. "What do you think was Abigail doing earlier? She seems to be serious while staring at her notebook." The woman asked curiously.

Shrugging her shoulders, "I don't know too, she's very secretive at all her actions." Aella answered.

Continuing their walk, curiosity was still lingering around Mady's mind. With how Abigail helped them in the forest. Her knowledge about this world. It was quite eerie for her. But then, Abigail's parents must have told their children simple facts about this place.

On the other hand, Adrianne was left alone in the room. Hiding her things, she made sure that no one would find them. She was writing down the names of those vampires who she considered as an ally. She needs to know if they were still alive.

After cleaning up her bed, she quickly fixed her own clothes before going out of the room. The canteen was a little bit far away from their room. It would take her roughly 15 minutes just to reach her destination.

Walking outside, her eyes wandered around the area. There were numerous amount of trees scattered all over the place. She can see the high wall that was protecting them from the outside.

Adrianne wants to know where was the new castle located, now. She had to know, as well, the state of the vampires living in the kingdom. The only time they went outside the school was when the councils decided to throw them in the forest.

"Pst, Weirdo,"

Taking a deep breath, Adrianne's foot suddenly stopped midway. A loud voice from a man echoed throughout the hallway. And she knew that it was meant for her.

Adrianne heard a group of students laughing after seeing that she had stopped walking.

"Velium thamik," Adrianne suddenly muttered.

She smirked after seeing a group of birds flying through their direction. But her smirk grew wider when the students laughing from earlier were now screaming in fear. Hmm, that should last for some time.

Chuckling, Adrianne continued to walk. She already have enough energy to control small animals like birds or bees. And that's what she did earlier, commanding the birds to attack those students.

Adrianne now wondered where can she find an old beox. It's blood will surely give her more energy.

She was lost in her thoughts suddenly a hard thing bumped her.

"Can you look at where you're going?"

Adrianne's eyebrows knotted in a straight line at what the guy had said. The man who bumped her, Darius, couldn't look at her face directly. The guy was busy reading a book.

"Me? Aren't you the one who bumped against me? I was walking fine with my own direction." Raising one of her eyebrows, Adrianne look at him from head to toe.

He's wearing black slacks pairing it up with a white long sleeve polo shirt. A black tie was hanging around the man's neck. Adrianne took a deep breath, calming herself down. She glanced over his direction for the last time. Rolling her eyes. The man was not worth her time anyways, and she was already running late. Hurrying up for food was more important.

"Anyways, apology accepted," That was the last thing Darius had said before walking away.

Adrianne's patience went downhill. That brute of a guy pissed her to the core. Her early happy mood shifted ways. And while she was walking towards the entrance of the main hall where the canteen was located. She was cursing that man to death.

Adrianne wish that the man would slipped on his way to his destination!
