Michael's P. O. V

I called Pablo but he didn't pick up, he wasn't at school today and that made me worry about him. He didn't have perfect attendance like a certain jock with two thumbs, but he wasn't the type to skip school.

I would have driven up to his house, but coach was placing a lot of pressure on me and the guys. We had a very important game this Friday, and scouts would be watching us. Like my dad said, to get into a get college playing sports I had to be exceptional and make no room for failure.

I picked my biology notes and started reviewing them, but each time I did, an image of Diana flashed across my mind.

"Why did she faint?."I thought for a moment, she didn't have any sort of secret illness, or did she?.

The door to my room gently pulled open to reveal Mia holding a tray of milk.

She dropped it on the table, and stood there for a while her arms behind her back.
