Chapter 214

Diana's P. O. V

Dinner wasn't so awkward tonight, majorly because we were having a conversation centered on cheerleading, and how Nationals was barely three months away.

"You girls have a routine cooked up yet?." Mom inquired breaking up the silence, Makela and I exchanged glances at each other.

"Diana isn't back yet so we haven't talked about it." Makela pointed out, I shot her a death glare and stared at the food in front of me. Eating with my left hand was such a drag!.

"You act like you basically own the place, figured you'd start up your own little routine leaving me out of it." I voiced out, with no sentiment in my voice.

We had been at each other's throats, picking fights at any opportunity we got. And me knowing she had kissed West didn't put me at ease about her.

"I am selfish, not stupid. You're too slow to catch up to my technique." Makela replied back, she stopped feeling the need to pretend in front of my mom.
