Chapter 224

Diana's P. O. V

Mom didn't see a problem with me going on a date tonight. Of course she had concerns over my health and all, and I took some pain killers with me in case the need ever arose. Not only did I take some pain killers, I also took an extra bandage, to convince her.

I picked out a blue gown and a black jacket, the night was chilly so I wanted to wear something to keep off the cold. Then I slapped on some sneakers and a neck chain.

Makela didn't really seem interested in my dating life. She was too busy with that wining routine. By the amount of dedication she's putting into that stuff, I'd be alarmed if she doesn't come up with something good.

The doorbell rang, while I was still in my room, brushing my hair for like the tenth time!

"Hell no." I had said, knowing fully well that my mom would go answer the door and embarrass me. I carefully jogged downstairs, too late.
