Chapter 316

West's P. O. V

When Charleston called me at five am and begged me to watch over Ryan all through the day, I thought it was a sort of prank. So I just declined the call and went back to sleep, rolling with the sick joke.

The dumb joke suddenly turned real when I heard my doorbell at eight am ringing so loudly. I hated the damn sound, but there was nothing I hated more than seeing the little brat on my doorstep so early in the morning.

"Of all the things to wake up..." I nurtured under my breath. The idiot had on a green sweater vest that matched his green shoes.

"Green shoes?. Who the hell wears green shoes?." I found myself asking, placing my hand on my hip in disbelief.

"The old guy said you're hanging out with me today so don't be lame." He "commanded", whilst strutting into my home uninvited.

Fortunately for him, he tripped on a box and fell face flat on the wooden floor.
