Chapter 4: The death

In the Coalition, or generally the world of martial art, there is a grading system for every martial artist starting from the beginner level, then the amateur level, then the apprentice level, the graduate level, master level, grandmaster level, ace level, transcendence level and the ascension level. Of this level of martial art, there is something so spectacular among them which is why they are respected.

Spirit art, an advanced form of martial art that does not necessarily involve physical contact, is a type of martial art that involves intercepting the laws and concept of the word itself, one that has mastered spirit art to the level of the ace can be considered a nation class danger. After becoming a master one gains realization into spirit art, there are diverse kinds of spirit art, endless streams and from where it is least expected but there are three basic classifications of spirit art; manipulation of nature, manipulation of concept and laws, manipulation of the counterfeit. Most people often find themselves being able to easily master spirit art: manipulation of nature but even amidst them there are very few who can create a domain.

Domains are the peak of every kind of spirit art, however, the domain can be divided into two parts; intrinsic and extrinsic. While the Intrinsic domain mainly affects a person, extrinsic can go as far as affecting the environment.

Lady Hua was a one in a thousand grandmaster, with a very rare attribute, the way she fused with her spiritual realm was beyond imagination, it was a perfection of art itself.

The whole forest in an instance turned white, and a heavy outpour of ice swept even trees.

'how strong is her dantian for her to be able to accommodate so much neigong, as expected she had long broken past the master level, of course, it's not like I've been playing around either. . . this was supposed to be a vengeance.'

The scarred man surged towards her in a glint, his sword pierced into her chest but right there the image in front of him solidified and turned to an ice crystal, now his sword was stuck, he immediately flipped back but only to plunge into Lady Hua's sword.

The sword entered right into his shoulders, he used his hand to stop it from going in deeper.

"This is my domain, did you think you'd be able to stab me. And you made a huge mistake thinking killing me will satisfy your vengeance for my father. Then, you can't even kill me"

"ohhh. . . after just one stab you are getting cocky"

"Die!" Lady Hua forced her sword into his soldier but he still held it right that his hand was bleeding, blood surged out of his mouth

'damnit, to think I'd have to use it this early, I was saving it for that bastard.'

"Forbidden art..."

There is a right way to do things, consistency, perseverance, hard work, labour. There also exists a wrong way; when one wants to skip the process and have a result, every art that has a righteous and honest path has a forbidden path also.

Forbidden art was dreadful, in opposition to life itself, it's the forbidden path of the spirit art when one can not go through the process, boosting your strength in unrighteous ways.

A dark fume enveloped the man, Lady Hua quickly flew back.

". . . I didn't want to drag this out for long. I need to go feed my son he must be hungry."

Lady Hua looked up towards where the crack sound came from.

'. . . no way, my neigong can't maintain the domain anymore, with so much dark qi, flowing from him, my neigong can not continue to maintain the domain. damnit I have put my all into my last attack.'

She began to send sword qi towards the dark fume that was still enveloping the scarred man but every single sword qi was dispelled.

She took her hands off sky flower, the sword was fluttering on its own, of course, it was being controlled by her. She stretched forth her hands, sky flower began to move towards the man swiftly yet steadily on getting to half the distance the sword split into a hundred more of itself and began to get faster, swirling around the dark fumes, looking for an opening.

The cracks were getting larger and soon her domain was going to be broken, she wasn't allowed to display the true might of her domain because of the forbidden art that her opponent was using, plus he seemed to have more neigong than her, she had to finish it immediately she sees an opening.

The dark fumes dispersed aggressively the floating swords charged in immediately only to begin to shatter to the grounds. What revealed underneath the clearing fumes was not human anymore.

The robust body, the black inscriptions on the body, the large fangs like that of a beast, the pitch-black eyes. It was a beast.

Her eyes could not follow, she coughed out blood and looks down as she was thrust and lifted, the dark hand she was seeing that plunged into her stomach, the beast withdrew its hand and an outpouring of blood followed, the world rolled over before her eyes as she hit the ground, her domain expansion shattered.

"Hai. . .Rong. . ."
