C 47. Calamity

Holy…!!!!!

Space shook and stretched towards the Pebble Direction then it came back to normal!

Crack!

Crack!!

Crack!!!

Long fissure ran down on my body, I fainted out of… what I saw… should not be seen.

In a second, deep down, a desire to live coalesced to a Will that forced my body to mend itself.

I utilised that Will to emit my fluid to escape disaster. To my utter dismay, the liquid is being absorbed by the surrounding space.

I retracted my senses to have some semblance of mind to think of the next action, but it was then I realized it was a futile effort.

What was coming toward me is a being that to feel its existence, distance is meaningless, even as it is far away its presence is already with me.

The more time passes, no matter how little it was, its image is forming within my mind. I have to try my best to think of something to ignore the forming image.

As I'm 'A Lost Asteroid' drifting in space for an unknown time, one thing I know is, never gaze at certain entities. 

As the Intimidation of their Presence alone can incapacitate and then you will be at their mercy!

I can't hold on, its image is forming, its presence increasing!

Small cracks around my body are forming with each passing moment.

I try to divert my attention to the little Pebble, I found it basking in my fear and that serves as a protection to it.

What the hell!? 

It can use my raging emotion to hide? 

I can't bring myself to understand this phenomenon as the presence of the beast increases!

The spaces literally started to vibrate with intensity and as I perceived them, images started forming in my mind, as a result of its increase of presence.

My body shattered as I comprehended a piece of it. 

Will churned and turned to attraction, pulling all my body parts together!

Far… far beyond my conceptualisation, I understand a beast is coming, its intent on me, its eyes on my fragile body. 

It's moving at an insane speed that my mind can't even begin to fathom. 

Only the distance is so great, making it late.

As my last crack was mended, I blanked out. This time I felt a distinct frequency of vibration within the major vibration of the space.

It contains an influx of information about past events at a certain location in far reaches of space that is not pure darkness as this Endless Black Space!

But it was not pleasant information.

It was like watching an event that happened long ago, through calm transparent water. 

It was in a Dark Space sprinkled with light dots. 

Each dot is a Star, from a distance it may look as if they are close but in actuality, they are far away from each other.

The vision zoomed in toward a moving object, it's big, no! I can't actually discern its size. 

All I can feel is it is moving at tremendous speed. In just ten moments it reached a star, entered its orbit and then…..!

The Thing seems like a regular asteroid, entering the Star's orbit reduced its speed a little bit. 

It revealed its form, and it took a great effort from me not to gaze at it directly.

There is this foreboding feeling of danger if I directly gazed at it!!!

Even without my gaze, I gleaned a hand extending from its main body, grabbed something from space and yanked it back, propelling it at a maddening speed.

In only eleven moments it reached another Star!

Six moments later it reached another Star!

Four moments later it reached another Star!

Three moments later it reached another Star!

Though it depends on the distance between one Star to another, this level of speed is insane. 

And in each Star Orbit, it took a stop to look around and then propel itself with a single hand.

The last visited star, it was attracted by something distant. Two arms protrude from it and grabbed space, propelling itself with double the usual speed towards a certain Star.

The distance that should be covered within eleven moments, was covered in three moments. 

But this star was different. My vision zoomed inside the Star Orbit.  Witnessing it emitting a flare that scorches the nearest planets.

I looked at the whole orbit, the Star is large with twenty-two orbits and twenty-two Planets, filled with countless tiny Asteroids and Moons.

One of the Planets that was scorched cracked and split open. 

A coiled Giant Scally Monster Worm unfolds. It shuddered in fear not for the flare that awakened it but for the Thing that was about to bust in within the Star halo!

Each star has a halo but this star flares and its halo becomes rigid and solidified.

Preventing entering or leaving of anything. 

The Thing was just a moment away from the halo when the worm within the Star system opened its maw decorated with jig jag saw teeth.

My body shook and another massive influx of forbidding scenes flashed, but I suppressed it because it wasn't as half as the Thing encroaching it.

Its body contracts like a spring and a dense energy shot from the maw directing it toward the Thing.

The moment the Thing breached the halo and entered the Star Orbit, the beam of energy from the scaly Monster Worm hit it. 

The strength of the beam pushed away any planets or asteroids that were on the way.

But the Thing!!!

I think… it snorted and hit the beam head-on. 

The beam as if none existent, the thing flashed toward the Monster Worm, and penetrated through it maw ravaging it from inside out.

The Monster Worm put on a fight by squeezing its planet-size but it was a futile effort…!

Flare after flare from the star but before the first wave of heat reached the Thing, it had consumed half of the monster worm.

Through the minced and ravaged flesh of the Monster Worm, I mistakenly saw the Thing head.

Its eyes veered toward my direction, its gaze transverse Space and Time and locked on my very being.

My mind scattered becoming a file of consciousness without a semblance of will.

I still make out its rest of action, as it raised its arm, grabbed space and pulled itself toward a cluster of Planets.

The Planets have moved unnaturally to protect a certain Planet that contains lifeforms. 

In a flash of speed, it avoids all of them until it is near the Planet.
