C 75. Reason For Mental Instability

His aversion to me increases but somehow he is trying to control it, and also replace it with optimism and neutrality. 

Suddenly I felt as if im naked. It was a weird feeling that seemed like something intangible touching me.

It only appeared for a moment before it was gone.

"You are no different than me, do you know that? I might sense your emotion and also influence it if I wished just like Richard Zhen. 

And because of that, you feel disgusted with us.

So, what permits you to look at our secrets with your eyes. Just now you gazed at me with your power, what justified that.

Or is it okay for you to use your power and pry at people's secrets but when we use our ability to sense emotions it's not okay?"

"Hmm, you are right. But what I can see through my eyes is inconsequential, it is just the nature and the assumed colour of people's ability, nothing else."

This idiot doesn't know how far his eyes can see, Great Sage can see a vision of things but he is like a baby learning to walk.

"Anyone gives you permission to look at my ability?"

"Nope, it's an instinct."

"Good, we are the same then." I want to close the chapter when he said, 

"You want everyone to like you and praise you. That is why you feel angry when my feelings toward you are negative?"

"No, it's because I'm a positive sensor, not a negative one. Let not discuss this. Director Khan will be here in a minute."

"Hmm, tread with care, emotions are one of the Pillars of human nature. And having a reign over them is not a blessing but a curse." He said before he left the kitchen.

That sounded like what The Great Sage would say!!!

A minute later Director Khan walked into the garden and was accompanied by two people. Bob the fat doctor and Head Science.

"Dr Khan, good morning. How long was I not myself? And is there any injury… no I mean what happened to me?"

"Hmm, welcome back. How do you feel?"

"My mind is a bit hazy, but I feel great. Hello, head science, Mr… Dr Bob, how is work?"

"You seem very well awake, I hope you are ready for the next phase of the experiment." Dr Bob replied to him.

"Hello." Head Science said.

Subject 3519 seems to get along with everyone among the doctors. In fact when Director Khan said that he will remain in the garden for more observation, Bob the fat doctor stayed behind to accompany him.

It has been four hours by now, but the doctor was still here discussing what has been going on in the world and some breakthroughs in technological advancements.

"What about Serene?"

"Ha, that girl is still in hibernation. About the same time you go Super Saiyan she also goes Super Saiyan but the difference is that her powers are world ending, so by only shutting her down could we keep the Facility safe."

"She is dangerous. I always wanted to observe her but my instincts kept screaming danger.

I have this question that has been weighing on me but I couldn't come up with an answer!" The subject said.

"Ask away, if I can I will tell you." Bob the fat doctor said.

"Is kidnapping of people you and the other organisations do a good thing to the world?" The Subject asked.

"You don't expect me to insult or say that my employers are wrong, right? Generally, it's not good, but in the long run maybe!"

"Here is the true question, here I met with a lot of people that mentally they are not stable, doesn't that mean if they are out there in the world they will course a lot more damage.

In another way, being contained and watched like in this facility is the viable way to keep the normal people safe from the danger of the ability users." 

"Hmm!" I snorted, he doesn't even know the source of the power. Well, I guess the majority doesn't know the most basic reason why our powers exist and how the world is still safe.

"Well, you see… only one percent of ability users will ever go insane or act the way you see them here.

If you can advance your powers through understanding and its usage in this facility then your advancement will be doubled in the outside world.

That is to say, if you can make a fireball the size of a soccer ball here, then out there you can make two times that size without side effects.

All the side effects you see most of you are suffering in regards to mentality and emotion is because you are cut off from natural gravity, natural sunlight, natural oxygen and other natural things that the world produces

The presence of those natural phenomena makes all users have mental and emotional clarity just like any other humans but the moment you take it away the energy will make you people behave differently.

So, mental confusion and emotional instability are caused by the foreign energy circulating through ability users, so if a person was able to achieve stability here then in the outside world, that person would not face that kind of complication only if he abused his power." 

Bob the fat doctor explained trying to omit the crucial aspects.

It seems they didn't convey everything to him about the ability secrets.

"In that case, the natural world makes us and the energy have good connectivity. But in its absence, we will have to strive to achieve that connectivity?" The subject asked.

"Something like that. However one can achieve it naturally, it's just that it will take longer."

"I see, you said something about Phase, and also Doctor Khan said something similar, he said if someone passes through the Phases of development they will use their power with zero side effects. What does it mean?"

"It is a term used to denote how far one has gone in mastering his ability. There are Ten known Phases but it depends on the ability and how it improves." Bob the fat doctor answered.
