Discussions from the War Room

Gabriel looked away, not saying anything.

"Look Gabriel," I pressed on.  "I told you I would support you fully, but I have to have something to support."

I shook his arm.  "You have to do your part too."

He turned back to me.  "Does doing my part mean I have to couple myself to those twins for the rest of my life?"

His blue eyes turned desperate.  "Are you trying to extinguish my future hopes and dreams forever?"

I frowned.  "How is bonding with two gorgeous creatures extinguishing your future forever?"

"How?  Because I don't love them.  In fact, I can't stand them!"

"And being with them for the rest of my life means I can never be with the woman I want to be with."  His eyes were tragic.

"Would you be able to do it if it would save that many people from dying?" I asked.
