A Brand New Love Spell

Dinner was a light buffet style, with all sorts of food in artful arrangement on a long linen-covered table.

A couple of servers stood at the buffet to assist us with anything we needed, but other than carving up some roast beef and making a few drinks, they did not interact much with us.

I took a plate, filled it with a few items that I knew I could manage and then found my place at the dining table.

I still could not get over the fact that, although it felt as if we were sitting outside, we were, in fact, inside the dome.

Gabriel took the seat at the head of the table, as was his rightful position, being the host.  Papa and Simon were across from me, and Connor and Corwin were on either side of me.

It was odd that, although not everyone had warm feelings toward each other, they were all connected to me in a very heartfelt manner, which made me feel as if I was surrounded by people who loved me.
