Henshaw

As Michael was about to finish his sentence, the was sunk in and out came a man with bandages wrapped around his chest. He had a sabre in his waste that was doused with blood.

Michael and Joey's heart sank when saw who came out.

"You guys looking for something?".

Walking out of the door right next to Joey and Michael was Mason, the person who just won the Afterlife battle. He looked casual and didn't seem like someone who just chopped someone in two.

"Sorry sir, It was very insensitive of me" Michael quickly gave a bow, as he tried to force a smile

.

Mason laughed "Hahaha, I didn't know I had fans this young but I'm gonna die sooner. So don't expect to see me much longer". It was sad seeing someone so young saying this.*

"Do you guys want to fight in the Afterlife?"

Joey didn't answer but Michael said "I'm not strong enough to fight in the Afterlife"

"Don't Afterlife fights are for only for a special group of people, some who wish to get stronger and some who wish to reach the top. Yow will know when you find out the truth.

You should try out for the Sky academy tournament and get admitted to the Sky Academy."

"Yes Sir" Micheal gave a bow, he didn't dare show any neglect.

Mason's face turned cold as he asked "Do I look like an old man kid?"

"N-no Sir! Your very good looking sir" Michael answered with a stutter, he was unsure how to answer but didn't want to offend him.

"What did you call me!?"

"I mean Mason, sir!"

Mason looked at him with a smirk and then laughed "haha, you're a good kid".

He looked to into the Martial Center and pointed "You guys can get that long axe and sell it the material is from 9 Skies, so it should be worth something uses it to get stronger."

"Thank you very much si-"

"Mason" Before Joey Michael could go any further Joey interjected, "Thank you, Mason".

Mason looked at Joey for the first time a nodded his head in agreement "Be more liked your friend kid", he patted Micheal on his shoulder, after he walked out there were many people with shiny boxes behind them walking behind him.

Everyone stared as he left the Martial Center.

Michael looked at Joey with a weird expression.

"I just saved your life, If you called him Mister one more time I suspect he would've blown you up right there.

That guy looks to be at least in his 20's", Joey said then added, "Don't thank me let's go get that long Axe.

"Our long Axe" Michael corrected.

"I said let's go get it, I never said it was mine, "Joey said as he shook his head.

The two walked over to the stage with the long Axe in the ground, the Ax had a matt black long handle and a silver Axe head on top of its sparkle.

The ground under the ground was already fixed after the fight and the stage was much lower and debris free

"You don't really need this right? Your family seems well off Joey asked as he secretly hoped.

"Oh please, My bad is a drunk that luckily won an Afterlife gamble. How about sell it and split the cost, we can at least get 20,000 grand at least"

Joey's eyebrows furrowed "why don't we split it, I want the handle you can take the blade"

What wouldn't that decrease in value?"

Joey knew how dumb he sounded, but he could use it as a weapon, and it was a part of his plans to get stronger.

"Gentlemen, are you planning to sell that?" As they both looked around they saw a woman with large beautiful eyes, her skin was fair and smooth. She was tall and mature and had a charming smile that made anyone let their guard down.

She hopped onto the stage in front of the duo "If friends are willing to sell it, I will be willing to take it off your hand.

Joey thought he would have to fight over the weapon with Michael he was just as confused, Micheal asked "Who are you?"

"Oh my name is Grislia Henshaw from the Henshaw foundation"

"Your father is Jucon Henshaw?"

Her eyes brightened, she found her time to strike. "So you have heard, I am willing to pay you 30, 000 dollars for this Long Axe," she said as he brought out her card and handed it over.

"No thanks I don't need it, you can be on your way"

Joey was didn't like the attitude the lady was given, Joey whispered in his ear "Why are you being like this?"

Joey was met with a knee in his side, so he decided not to ask anymore and tried to make the situation better before it debilitated.

"Ms I'm sorry about his attitude we were just arguing over how we should split it" Joey but we will give you a call if we decide to sell it. Joey accepted the card on Michaels behalf.

"Friend It's getting late, I hope to hear from you when you decide" She bowed and walked away from him.

Joey sighed with relief.

He looked at Michael with confusion, he wasn't planning to sell it but the way he disregarded something with a background in his presence automatically grouped them.

"What the hell was that genius? Do you have a hobby for offending people with a big background?" Joey asked in a callous voice.

"I don't owe you anything, your just someone who happened to be at the right place at the right time. I'll find someone to separate the blade from the handle and that's the end of that."

Joey laughed at himself for even asking. He simply ripped a paper out of the book and wrote up a contract and handed him. The contract included that Joey would own the handle of the long Axe, He handed over the contract and made sign it.

Joey didn't like his attitude and left with the contract and got it stamped and approved by the Martial Center. As long as he had the legal high ground he didn't need to take any shit because someone got in a bad mood.
