Lorcan didn't let go of Lydia's hands as she said, "I didn't get the chance to talk to him because I panicked. I had Angel look after them for a while," Lorcan nodded his head. Then Lydia added, "I think we should go and talk to him," 

Lorcan knew that she was right and if there is a right time to do that, it should be now. He turned his body and called his son without taking his hands off Lydia. "Aeden," He called.

"Papa!" Aeden instantly ran to them when he saw that his father was already back. Eira was hot in his tail. As they near them, the fire that surrounds them slowly diminished. When Aeden reached the deck, the fire was gone.

Lorcan squatted in front of his son and asked. "What did I tell you about using your gift?"

Aeden smiled and shook his head. "But it didn't hurt Eira," He said as if he was proud of what he did and then he glanced over his shoulder where Eira had already caught up to him.

"But it did hurt your Mama," Lorcan said.
