This is a story about 3 childhood friends; Jessica Hemsworth, Alexander Collins, and Kyle Thomas. These three have been best of friends since middle school. Jessica had a secret crush on Alexander ever since they met but she never developed the courage to tell him that until she decided to confess to him on a Valentine's Day when they were in high school.

After four years of their relationship, Alex suddenly wanted to break up with Jessica. Devastated by Alex's sudden betrayal, the 19-year-old Jessica decided to move away.

Another five years went by. Jessica decided to return to her hometown as she had to attend a class reunion as well as a friends' wedding. After five years, the shy and timid Jessica had now turned into a strong-willed and beautiful woman or you could say a complete badass.

At her class's reunion party happened an unexpected event where two ex-lovers meet each other after five years.

Please Be Mine Again

All of a sudden I heard my name being called by the very person I had been waiting for all this time. At first, I thought maybe it was my imagination but when he suddenly called me again, I knew that I wasn't dreaming.


Within seconds I received a message from Kelly that said Kyle had told Alex about your date, which meant he should have gone looking for you by now. It was like they had planned it and knew him to come by now and notified me now.


I turned around to see him looking at me with questionable eyes.


"Hey", he replied back with the same level of nervousness.


I looked down thinking about what to do next since I was literally freaking out by now. Like this was so sudden that whatever I had planned in mind was not coming to me at all.


Why isn't he saying anything, this is like we are stuck at our places without being able to say anything at all.


I thought to myself ' Ok Jessica, this is your chance, since he came all of sudden, I don't know how this will turn out to be but let's just go all out,Good luck'.


I grabbed his hand and led him to the living room where I had put the cake and chocolates. The moment we entered the living room, he was looking around his surroundings as he looked at the decorations.


"Umm, Jessica what is all this, whom did you plan this for? He questioned me out of nowhere.


I let go of his hand turned around to face him and said,


"Alex, you must be wondering what this all is and I will tell you but please hear me out first and don't say anything okay. Just give me your answer in the end. Can you do that for me?


He looked at me and nodded, then I continued.


"Alex, do you remember the first time we met, it was when you saved me from Cassandra and her bully friends. I don't usually like being bullied but since I didn't want to trouble my family about the problems I was facing in school, I couldn't do anything against them.


But then you showed up, you saved me and I started to like you. Slowly in these years, in which we have known each other, I started to fall in love with you. You were kind towards me, supported me, protected me, and guided me.


You are good-looking, handsome, and an excellent student but you always try to help me out in everything. I don't know why you do all this and I also don't know what you consider me as but I wanna confess my feelings to you, Alex".


"Alex, I love you. I love you from the bottom of my heart. Will you be my boyfriend?"


I said all that in one go and then looked down. I didn't have the courage to look at him right now and it was killing ne that he was silent.


There was silence between us for a few minutes when suddenly I saw footsteps in front of me.


My chin was lifted up in an instant and a pair of soft lips were placed on mine. I was stunned when I realized that Alex was kissing me right now. His lips were soft and rosey and it felt good to be kissed by him. He kissed me for a while and when we parted he looked into my eyes and said,


"Yes! Yes Jessica, Yes! I will be your boyfriend and I love you too. Ohh! you have no idea how happy I am that you confessed to me.


A tear fell down from my eyes and he wiped it. Today is the best day of my life.
