This is a story about 3 childhood friends; Jessica Hemsworth, Alexander Collins, and Kyle Thomas. These three have been best of friends since middle school. Jessica had a secret crush on Alexander ever since they met but she never developed the courage to tell him that until she decided to confess to him on a Valentine's Day when they were in high school.

After four years of their relationship, Alex suddenly wanted to break up with Jessica. Devastated by Alex's sudden betrayal, the 19-year-old Jessica decided to move away.

Another five years went by. Jessica decided to return to her hometown as she had to attend a class reunion as well as a friends' wedding. After five years, the shy and timid Jessica had now turned into a strong-willed and beautiful woman or you could say a complete badass.

At her class's reunion party happened an unexpected event where two ex-lovers meet each other after five years.

Please Be Mine Again

We stood in each others arms for awhile. When he snuggled in my neck, was the moment I realized that we were in such an intimate position. My heartbeat rose and I felt my face hot. 


"Umm, Alex...."  "Hmmm..." was all he said amd then paced back and looked at me.


"Why is your face so red", he placed his hand on my forehead to check my body temperature "are you sick", he asked in a gentle voice.


I shook my head from side to side to reply, "Really.....Then what happened?" he asked while being really close to my face.


I was pretty sure that my face and my ears were scarlet red now and after seeing my reaction, I think he also understood the reason behind my embarrassed state. So he moved closer to my ears and whispered something.


"Don't worry, I won't eat you now", I swear that I was beet red now, as if satisfied about my reaction he placed a kiss on my forehead and walked away to the dining table. As soon as I saw that he was out of sight, my legs gave out completely and I fell on the ground. 


I screamed internally thinking that that was so embarrassing and that how could Alex be so nasty. He literally teased me and walked away. Well I guess this is how he is and now he is my boyfriend. 


'Wait...boy-boyfriend.... BOYFRIEND'....He accepted my confession and is my boyfriend now. Like I got so emotional but anyway, now he is my boyfriend and now he is alone in the dining room where I placed the dinner that I had prepared for us. I should go and surprise him and help him since he came all the way from home.


I rushed to the kitchen after that to help Alex have dinner which I had prepared for him. He was eventually surprised when I told him that I cooked for him, after that I took him outside where I had prepared a small tent to enjoy stargazing. Alex was surprised and amazed at the same time.


We sat together in the small tent, enjoyed the stargazing and talked for a long time. I got to know many things about him, later I gave him the gift that I had bought for him. He was really happy to receive the gift, later he placed my head on his shoulders and we talked for awhile and I fell asleep.
