Over the next few days, the fortress was recreated. Diya resumed her command as Sargon’s right hand and she had finally met all the demons under his command. Ares had returned to the White City together with Romulus, Eris stayed behind to assist Lia with something. Brutus came back to life, he stated that being a gargoyle was like a cheat power, to which Sargon said to him,

“Come here, let me steal it from you. I mean let us spar until you break into pieces.”

After that, the generals relayed the news of the approaching demons and that they planned on getting assistance from the humans. Obviously some disagreed but Sargon told them to think of it as having a walking buffet on the battlefield, which they all agreed to.

“We have roughly three weeks and a few days until they get there, will this plan work?” Diya asked Sargon as they stood in the courtyard on Castle Black.
