CONNECTING ASSUMPTIONS

Zara knew that it was late for her to go out and go back to her adopted parent's house. However, she had no choice. She had to do it not only for her own good but for Zandro's sake, the most.

It took quite a while for her to wait for a taxi. She thought she would never get one at that hour. When a familiar car just pulled over in front of her. She didn't want to believe at first, not until the car window slid to open and it was Dennise.

"Where are you going, Zara? Hop in here. What are you doing this late outside?" Dennise asked with a furrowed brow.

"Shouldn't I, who was supposed to ask you that?" Zara asked back.

"I know, I am here to talk to you… and will you please stop running away from me? I thought you had already forgiven me," Dennise murmured.

"Are you sure you are not here to see Zandro?" Zara mumbled without intending for Dennise to hear.

"What ya sayin'?" Dennise asked while peeking over from the window of her car.
