A Different View About Selfishness

Sofia tilted her head until her line of vision reached the sky. She stared at the image of the moon for a long time. The clouds surrounded the crescent giving it a sense of allure.

While gaping, her right hand subconsciously rubbed the watch on her left wrist. 

"Reflections and surrender... the sky seemed to align with the vendor's situation," she softly murmured while staring at the thin moon that shaped like a banana.

After a while, she took a long breath and sighed. Her line of vision shifted on the side of the road. She watched at the figure of the vendor that had surprisingly not yet gone too far.

Initially, Sofia assumed that the vendor was too slow to push her wooden cart because she was exhausted. Or perhaps, she was cautious not to damage her merchandise.
