35. Finally, Some Action

Gargar has gotten out of the car. His gaze was straight at the monster's back. He then looked at the master who was still in the car. Evan didn't notice the sugar guy because he was still hunched over, clutching his head.

Smiling, Gargar started running. At first, he was running normally like an ordinary human, but over time he grew faster and faster. So fast, he looked like a world-class running athlete. His running speed really doesn't match his old face and his distended stomach.

Then, he jumped high towards the monster's back. He was clearly about to attack, but strangely not using fists or kicks.

The sugar man puffed out his potbelly forward.

Gargar's stomach hit the monster's back very hard. The monster staggered forward. Meanwhile, the newly flung Gargar circled backward in the air, before finally landing back onto the asphalt.

A loud thud echoed out as the monster fell forward, tripping over his own leg.

"Holy .... To take down that monster, our soldiers need a lot of weapons, but he can do it with an attack like that?" The driver stared in amazement.

Jon smiled crookedly. "Yes, he's really great."

Evan, who was awakened by the loud thud just now, raised his head to see what was going on.

"Who did that!?" The monster yelled, trying to stand up.

However, his movements were hampered. One of his feet was sticking to the ground. It turned out that his leg was wrapped in a thick, shiny brown liquid, like melted sugar.

"What is this!!??" The monster was getting angry. With all his strength, he could indeed free his legs. However, not yet fully standing up, his face had already been shot out by another brown liquid. "Bastard!!! What are you doing to me!!??"

Unable to see, the monster tried to clean the liquid from his face, but now his hand was stuck there. Gargar jumped again and gave his stomach attack. The monster fell again, this time on his back.

"Could it be that we will see a balanced fight?" Jon asked, interlocking his fingers.

Evan swallowed hard. Yes, Gargar's movements were incredible, even though it's weird. But, what he was fighting against was a monster over seven meters in size, which had just defeated many trained soldiers, and even destroyed tanks and helicopters.

Does the sugar guy really have a chance?

Gargar squirted the thick liquid from his two hands again, this time at the monster's elbow. Once again, the monster had to struggle to remove parts of its body from the asphalt.

The monster was just able to stand up when Gargar's stomach attack knocked him out for the third time.

The driver raised an eyebrow. "When the monster fell, why didn't Gargar spray the liquid over and over again so that the monster wouldn't wake up?"

"Maybe because he needed a break to squirt the liquid?" Evan guessed.

Then, like a cycle, the scenes repeated themselves. The monster broke free of Gargar's sticky liquid, and soon after, he was taken down with a stomach attack from the sugar guy. The loud thud and cursing of the monster could be heard many times.

"Do we need a new plan? The fight is stagnating." The driver suggested when Gargar sprayed his sticky liquid for the umpteenth time. The monster's body, as well as the streets and buildings, were full of that shiny brown liquid.

Jon shook his head lightly. "We'll see the situation first."

At first, Evan continued to pay close attention to the fight, but after a while he became drowsy. This is very boring, far from the superhero fights he used to see in Hollywood movies. Gargar's attacks didn't vary at all. The sugar guy also looked like he had no risk of being defeated, and the monster was too stupid to think of any other way to fight apart from trying to beat the sugar guy with his hands while cursing.

And it lasted more than an hour. Evan's eyes were so heavy. His head fell over and over again because the drowsiness was so unbearable.

"The monster's movements are slowing down." Jon narrowed his eyes. "The liquid sugar that stuck to his body kept increasing and it was blocking his movement."

Hearing that, Evan forced his eyes to open to see if the battle would be over.

The monster fell for the umpteenth time. Almost every inch of his body was covered with the sticky liquid from Gargar. This time, the monster had a very hard time getting up. His right hand was so sticky against his stomach, while his left hand was on his back. Both hands could not be released by him. Apart from that, his two legs were also tightly pressed against each other.

"Just like that?" The driver raised his eyebrows again.

"Well, that's a very good thing, right?" Jon laughed a little, then got out of the car, followed by Evan and the driver. "Nobody got hurt."

"Why!!?? Why did you get in my way!!?? I just want to eat!!!" The monster struggled, but its body was even more trapped in the thick liquid.

Taking a deep breath, Gargar whose body was also full of brown liquid from himself approached the monster.

"Anything too much is not good," the sugar guy spoke softly. "I just realized now. My overflowing love just hurts my master. You are like that too, right? The food that you eat excessively is also torturing you, right?"

"That ..." The monster choked for a few seconds.

"Be honest with yourself, mate."

The round-bodied monster looked away. "Aah .... You're right. Since a long time ago, I couldn't move like most people. My activities are limited because of my fat body. Even though every now and then I want to play football with my friends... I have also felt various diseases, such as high blood pressure and so on .... And the worst of all, no girl wants to be with me because of my appearance."

The monster's eyes began to fill with tears. His tears dropped one by one until finally, he howled like a child. "And now I'm a monster who only makes destruction!"

Jon, Evan, and the driver covered their ears because the monster's cry was so loud. Only Gargar didn't do that. He remained standing tall, looking at the monster sympathetically.

However, that sad roar didn't last long. The monster tried to hold back his tears.

"Looks like, crying shouldn't be too much either. My voice is so ugly." The monster laughed bitterly. Even so, his tears are still dripping.

The sugar guy just stared at the poor monster in silence.

Jon, who walked over to Gargar with the driver, clapped his hands. "Congratulations sugar man, you managed to take him down. Something not even our large army could do."

Gargar frowned at the two men. He pointed to his ears while shouting, "Sorry, I can't hear you! My ears are ringing because of this monster's loud cry just now!"
