193. The Memory

Hearing a loud slap from Evan's room, Fiona, who was sitting in the front room, rose to her feet. Not long after, a girl with short silver hair and wearing a black leotard came from the living room. The girl who kept crying stopped when she saw Fiona. With her mouth open and her tears pouring down, she continued to stare at Fiona, then ran out of the house. Fiona just stared at the scene in silence.

"Mimi, where are you going!?" Anderson's scream was heard from outside.

A second later, Evan came into the hall with a red right cheek. He also stopped when he saw Fiona.

"I chose you, Fiona." Evan looked away slightly. His face looked sad. "But, I have to still catch her. I was worried that she might fall into the wrong hands. She could be used as research material. After all, she is a being to whom I give life."

Fiona also looked the other way. "Sorry to have put you in this position."
