Stalking The Old Lady

The arrival of a visitor to Daniel's house was not only informed to Luna. Shadow was informed in the process.

During the time he checked the security camera, he had seen what Luna did. He smiled at her behavior, it made him realize that even he sometimes forgot that Luna was still a kid.

When the old lady got out of the house and left, unknown to her, Shadow followed her in secret.

The old lady got in a taxi. Shadow moved into the shadow under the car to follow along. After an hour of traveling, the car finally stopped. It was stopped in the parking lot of a luxury hotel.

Definitely not a place a normal old lady could make an effort. From looking at her attire, a woolen sweater with a tight office skirt long enough to cover her knees, Shadow guessed that she must be working for someone wealthy.

'Is the person behind that boy living here?'

He easily followed the old lady with his shadow element. The hotel security couldn't notice him. To catch the presence of a shadow elementalist, only another shadow elementalist could do it. If this hotel were to employ shadow elementalists in each of their branches, they would go bankrupt.

Since the price for making a unique elementalist work here for a full twenty-four hours daily without giving a high price was the same as asking them to work for free.

Possessing the shadow element can bring benefits to the elementalist.

The pay of the shadow elementalist who possessed B in EPR was sky-high. Higher than the salaries of A rank special elementalist. The strength measured by EPR is pretty accurate if only the elementalist didn't hold back his strength. There were many different aspects of measuring the ranks.

Even if the shadow elementalist only learned the basics of how to use it, they can make money out of it by performing it in shows and live their lives. They have it all easy on the surface.

People wouldn't know about what kind of danger they had faced for possessing it.

The old lady went inside the hotel, she took the elevator with the room card from her shoulder bag. As she got to the floor she had pressed, the transparent heels from her sandal made the sound of toddling on the marble hallway. Her steps were unstable due to old age.

At that moment, Shadow, who was hiding in the shadow of the old lady, moved to the shadow from the shadows in the ceiling lights and jumped from one shadow to another.

He couldn't stand the sound of the heels.

He went in first without waiting for the old lady to open the room with the key card. He spread his element to search the whole room. The only thing he found after searching was a big luggage. There were no people other than him and the old lady in this room.

The old lady threw her shoulder bag onto the bed and pulled her luggage. Shadow looked at the process with full concentration on what was inside.

There were three pairs of heel sandals in different styles and colors, some clothes and…a passport?

That finally made sense. The reason he couldn't dig up the information on Daniel was that it was cleaned and made up by experts that were not from this country. How come he didn't think of that.

Only his mother was discovered with the face search. Daniel's looks were the carbon copy of his mother. The gender made the bone structure of the boy's face a little less feminine and elegant compared to his mother.

The old lady stared at her belongings, her smile almost reached her ears. After she was satisfied, she took a pair of her clothes to get into the shower.

With her gone in the bedroom, Shadow came out from the shadow to take a look at the passport. He took photos of the information in the passport and left the hotel.

Spending too much time outside won't be good if something bad happens at home. He hurried back to the apartment. Nothing happened in his absence.

Luna was talking with White in the living room. Ian seemed to be reluctant to give his attention much to Luna today, he was busy enjoying his toy and strengthening his teeth.

There was the image of the entrance of the school Shadow planned to enroll Luna on the screen.

White knew most of the information about the school. She explained to Luna that if she wanted to get experience in fighting or teamwork more than what the school taught to students, she should get a decent grade and it will help her when the time of the festival comes.

Luna continued to ask about what the school taught the former students, which range was counted as the decent grade, and lastly what was the festival that White mentioned?

Before White could explain, Shadow cut in.

"Be sure to get into top one to three," his voice carried the air of how serious this matter was.

It did not pressure Luna, she was instead happy that she can reveal her full strength with her fire element.

"I will do my best!" she responded.
