Chapter 22: Meifeng
As the four of them were enjoying family time with the loud EDM music in the background there came a young woman with long blonde hair, she has beautiful almond shape eyes, a pointed nose and beautiful red lips.
She wore a black vest and long formal trousers giving off a confident, competent aura. This young lady was about the same age as Leina that is 20 years old.
As she came through the crowds she was eyeing Shuzo from afar.
Her gazes focus sharply on him as she takes a sip of the wine.
She saw him, seating there relaxed with his family. It seems that they are having the time of their life.
Wanting to join them, she walked confidently towards them.
Akihiro saw her, approaching them, therefore, he clamoured out enthusiastically, "Meifeng! You are here?!!"
Alerted by it, Roulan, Shuzo and Cuifen turned to look at her.
This Meifeng was greeting them and was smiling at them beautifully.
Cuifen on the side was left stupefied the moment she saw her face.
Her face...her eyes, her nose, her lips, the way she talked, the way she carry herself, it was so identical. She looks the exact copy of Meilein who was Cuifen's adversary in her past life.
She was the same bitch who has seduced her first love Lijun and had him marry her. It was on their wedding day that Cuifen has met the drastic fate and met with the terrible accident and ended up transmigrating in that unknown era.
While Cuifen was continuously staring at her in fright, this Meifeng was greeting Shuzo and was talking to him with a sensual smile.
Akihiro was then praising her father for his achievements in the latest planetary mission.
It seems that he has contributed a lot to that mission. Because of it, the founders were to raise his position in the Special unit.
Meifeng smiled dazzlingly at it and replied optimistically, "Yes, it is likely that the founders will raise my father's position"
Akihiro smiled at it and replied consciously, "Good...good, that's great news. With your father being raised to the higher position there might be a good transition in the system of the special unit!"
Meifeng didn't reply to it she fake a smile and replied bluffly, "Yes...yes...I am hoping for it as well"
She then turned to Leina who was staring at her without even blinking, "Then...Leina..how's your injury doing?! You feel better now?!"
She asked her carefreely as if they were some good friends.
Cuifen was staring at her in suspicion.
She was left numb by this woman way of speaking it was just the same when Meilein had talked to her in the past.
She would usually raise her brows and focus her eyes straight on her whenever she implores her.
Later on, she would use her answers to cause a dispute.
She acts all friendly and good in front of others but there's always a hidden agenda behind her every move.
This Meilein was never a simple person.
As Cuifen stared and observed her intensely, Meifeng was too staring at her hoping for a reply while doing so she fixed her strand of hair with her hands.
It was the same manner that Meilein had done in the past.
While she was examining it all, Meifeng stared at Leina's keen eyes in puzzlement. Both were now into the staring contest.
Concerned by Leina's act, Shuzo enunciated with his furrowed brows, "Leina..why don't you tell Meifeng about your health?!"
His keen eyes were pointing at her, looking forward to her answer.
Cuifen nervously shakes it off and turned to look at Shuzo then at Meifeng.
She then replied in anxiousness, "Good! I am feeling good...!"
Meifeng gleamed secretly at Leina's bizarre act. She was way too unthinkable.
Not wanting to expose it, she quickly returned to her poise and replied foxily, "That's great then!"
Wanting to confirm if this Meifeng is the same Meilein or the reincarnation of her, Cuifen promptly turned to her and inquired in curiosity, "Do you perhaps know Meilein?!"
Her curious keen eyes were fixated on her waiting for the answer.
Meifeng glances down at Cuifen in confusion and inquires, "Meilein....???!!"
It was as if she was questioning who is this Meilein?
Flustered by it, Cuifen conceded coolly, "She is a friend of mine! I thought you two might each other...That was silly of me...haha...!"
She then quickly turned feeling hot. It is now confirmed that this Meifeng is a different person or perhaps the reincarnation of Meilein but she is definitely not the same Meilein she knew.
It was quite crazy to see her reincarnation there.
How in the world is she able to meet the same people with different names?!
Cuifen was left berserk by it. She felt ecstatic and nervous at the same time. If this continues then bizarre things might happen later on like facing off with the appearance of her first love, Lijun?! Cuifen became hopeful at it.
As she was sitting there in the stillness, her mind was left wandering with all the possibilities that could have happened.
It was so strange to encounter similar occurrences and people that were slowly unravelling before her.
Why the heck did she meet the reincarnation of Meilein?! It was outrageous! Cuifen now even wonder what the actual Meilein might be doing.
A silent drop of tears fell from her eyes as she recalls the handsome face of Lijun in his groom's attire.
She was left triggered by it.
She reckoned that Meilein and Lijun might probably be together by now that they must have already consummated their marriage.
Even though she didn't get to marry Lijun, in this present life she didn't want to meet him again.
The thought of Lijun appearing in the future era immediately sent chills down her spine.
She didn't want to meet the one who betray her.
She didn't want to meet him who breaks her heart. It was already awful for Cuifen to see the reincarnation of Meilein.
