Recruiting 3
During the school day, Dan, Shaun and Professor McConville pretended as if nothing happened.
But once the day ended, a string of coincidences started happening that startled the Dean of New York University.
Professor McConville resigned from his position, effective immediately.
This shocked the Dean. Professor McConville had given their students so many enjoyable lessons and it would be very hard to replace him.
Professor McConville knew what he had done was very abrupt, but he carefully explained to the Dean that he had finally found his calling.
The principal respected his wishes and let him go.
As soon as he thought that this was going to be the most eventful thing that was going to happen today, two university students dropped out of school.
He again, strongly advised against it but alas they were adamant, so he let them go.
He did not forget to inform their parents!
He was hoping nothing else happened today!

Dan and Shaun started packing up their dorm room.
Era had sent the reward money whilst they were asleep so they had the funds to leave University now.
They were never actually planning to continue university as it would be a complete waste of time, the only benefit here was Robert.
This unexpected gain saved them a lot of time and effort, and his cooperative nature helped too.
They weren't going to force him into joining them, but they did not want to seem flimsy and easy to push around to this experienced old man.
They quickly bagged the little possessions they had and left the University building, not even looking back. This was just the end of a boring chapter, the interesting one was about to begin.
Shaun and Dan went to an above average hotel down the street.
Though they had money they did not want to waste all of quickly on stupid stuff.
Once they got into the hotel room, they called Robert to come to book a hotel room here as they were going somewhere.
Once that was sorted Dan and Shaun went into serious planning mode.
They planned out who they were going to recruit, booked flights ect.
They also compiled 5 different guide books for each Vassal guild they were going to have.
The Book of Commerce
The Book of Blueprints
The Book of Arts
The Book of Magic
The Book of Strategy and Monitoring
Shaun had to compile this himself whilst Dan booked flights etc. because he was not as knowledgeable as Shaun.
Shaun, though a slacker, handled a fair share of important information whilst he was working in his past life. He got paid by doing this by his fellow guild leaders as they controlled money inflow.
These books were supposed to have 5 tiers.

Shaun and Dan did this as a fail-safe. If the Vassal guild master of their guild decided to betray them, these levels would prevent them from leaving with all of their information.
They weren't so dumb as to leave everything down to these books so they would also sign a non-disclosure contract with them, and a long term employment contract.
Once Shaun had finished writing all the books, Dan had finished writing up a draft for the non-disclosure contract and the long term employment contract.
They had stayed in this hotel for 3 days.
Dan had booked many flights to different corners of the world. These remote places housed some of the powerhouses of their last timeline.
Though it would be awkward, they would try to recruit them.
Most of the people they were getting would be part of the main guild, so Dan and Shaun did want to make a good impression on them.
Though their relationship would be Guild master and 'underling' in paper, Dan and Shaun weren't megalomaniacs and would try to build a healthy relationship with people they meet and will not use the pressure of status on others, if necessary.
There is a difference in being nice and being a pushover
They packed up their room, checked out and headed for the airport!

"Ok old man, we'll be sending you to Asia and South America to try and recruit these 7 people." Shaun told Robert.
Asia was one of the places less of their targets lived. They deemed it alright to get the old man's help. Though he was old, he was quick witted and sharp and decisive.
(AN: Why does this sound like an assassination attempt!!!)
"Dan, you are going to Africa and Australia, you already know who we need and I'll tackle Europe and America."
"Easy," Dan said with a smile.
"It will be done," Robert said calmly.
They all checked in together, and one by one slowly went to their flight, bidding each other farewell.

Somewhere in South Africa...
Two coloured youths with dark red manes of hair and fierce but beautiful facial features were seated across from another two youths with blond hair filled with orange accents.
They were seated in a room filled with paintings of vividly drawn battles of ferocious red lions against a myriad of powerful looking animals.
These red lions had thick red manes of hair, their teeth doused in the blood of its enemies in every picture. Their feline eyes were like fireflies in the night sky. Their coat of fur was red but their skin was black like the midnight sky.
The two youths with red manes of hair had an uncanny resemblance with this fierce creature.
These two youths were wearing black formal attire which contrasted against their wild hair.
On the other hand the two youths on the other side of the table were wearing white tuxedos with black ties, lightning patterns were fashion across the sleeve. One of the youths had more lightning on the sleeve than the other, seemingly a show of status.
The youth with more lightning on his sleeve started, " So, Mazet, are you truly ok with the arrangement? Union between both our families will cause a very big stir in the currently fragile state of affairs..." Astor spoke politely.
