It was two days after her doctor's visit. She was now five months and one week pregnant and finding it difficult to do most things including having sex, she had four more months to go and didn't want to stop having sex just yet but the bigger she gets the more difficult it becomes. She was very grateful to God that he had sent her a patient and understanding husband. He was caring and gentle with her, he gave her breakfast in bed almost every morning, took Jasmine to school, call her constantly throughout the day, and gave her sensual massages almost every night.
The lift was finish and it was beautiful, it was a lot of work but the contractor knew his stuff and his workers did an excellent job. There was a slight change when they attend church, when it was time for Jasmine to have her lunch Gabriel would leave the choir take her to have her lunch then went back to the choir.
There was a member's meeting and he was chosen to teach bible class on Wednesday nights when the pastor wasn't available. Bro Micheal influenced some of the other members to vote against him but overall majority rules and he was appointed which only angered Micheal more but that was his problem and so far Gabriel was doing an excellent job which again didn't surprise her one bit. Her sisters were also doing a great job of helping her because to her amazement she couldn't reach the buttons on the washer or dryer anymore so her sisters were now in total control of her house.
And just as her two oldest sisters had done when they opened their wholesale, Dana and Diana each got someone to help them out at their house while they help her out at hers. Their kids didn't mind because they knew that if it wasn't for Diane meeting Gabriel their lives would have been a whole lot harder.
She knew that Desreen and Doreen's husbands respect Gabriel and were grateful for all he had done for them but Diana's boyfriend who was the collector on one of Gabriel's bus would do anything to stay in Gabriel's good graces. The Doctor had reminded her to be extra careful not to lift anything heavy and to stay off her feet as much as possible, she had even given Gabriel advice on how he can help her to stress less which he follows to the letter.
On Monday afternoon Gabriel met his friends for lunch at Berger king and greets them as he sat down. "Okay, what's going on with the both of you? What was so urgent?" He asks and Mike answered first. "Well, we thought about what you told us and decided to ask the love of our lives to marry us." "And?" Gabriel asks eagerly leaning forward. "The answer was yes," Marlon answered. "Mike and I are now both engaged."
"Yes!" Gabriel shouts clapping his hands together and then blushed bright red as all the customers in the restaurant turned to look at them. "And what about your other girls?" Gabriel asks in a much calmer tone. "Well, let's just say that we broke a lot of hearts in the last couple of days," Mike answered. 'We're going to try and change the way we a live, you know taking church more seriously, getting baptized, and as you put it living a clean honest life." Marlon adds.
"But it may not work out the way we want it to," Mike said sadly. "What do you mean?" Gabriel asks. "Well we might be ready to give our lives to God but our girls aren't" Mike answered running his fingers through his hair. Marlon then turns to his friend. "Listen, prince, the problem is that they're willing to marry us but they have no desire to become Christians, so what do we do about that?"
Gabriel shakes his head as a grin creased his lips. "Don't sweats it, just invite them to church with you sometimes and watch God transform them" Marlon rolls his eyes and leans back in his chair, and lets out a frustrated snort. "You make it sounds so damn easy prince but what about us? How we fi do dis? Wey we begin?" "Marlon the first thing you need to do is calm down, if you start stressing from now you're going to burn out before you even set a date for this wedding; now it's obvious that you can't get baptized first because that would cause a problem, you wouldn't be able to have sex with your girls so here's what you can do," Gabriel said taking a sip of his juice. "
Get married first then you wouldn't be committing fornication anymore, then after you come back from your honeymoon both of you get baptized and then you bring your wives to church. Now, of course, they're going to fight becoming Christians at first but I guarantee you that in the end, they will lose that battle." Marlon nods his head in approval. "That sounds like a long shot but I'm willing to try, what about you Mike?"
"Alright nothing try nothing done, so let's do this." Mike agrees. Gabriel eats the last of his burger and pushes the tray aside. "Now we have two engagement parties to plan so let's hear your ideas," Gabriel said wiping his hands on a napkin. "Hang on a sec, first let me ask you something," Mike said scratching his head. "You have been married for two years now, right? So any regrets? Find any fault in your wife that you weren't aware of before?" Mike asks.
"Yeah a few, especially her tongue, she has a tendency to speak before she thinks, I know she's not perfect but god knows I love her, so no. No regrets." He chuckles. "Do you think that your money is the main reason you're where you are in the church today?" Mike asks again.
"I'm not afraid to spend it, so yeah, maybe or maybe it's because I'm so eager to do something, anything I can to further the word of God." He said thoughtfully. "You know some of the members think you're trying to buy your way into heaven or you come to use your money to take over their church, others don't mind because you've done more for that church in the short space of time you've been there than anyone they know. Most of them think you are a Godsend." Mike said in a proud tone. "I'm just happy to help any way I can, with the help of God of course, where he leads I'll follow." Gabriel smiles. "So we a go plan dis party or wat?" Marlon asks leaning back in his chair.
An hour later he said goodbye to his friends, got in his car, fasten his seat belt, and sighs as he remembers how Alex used to always argue with him to wear his seat belt. A part of him missed his friend so much it hurts but deep down he knew he could never trust Alex again. With a frustrated groan, he put his phone in the holder on the dashboard and dials Justin's number he answers on the second ring. "Hey prince what's up?"
"Nothing much; are you still in Mobay?' "Yeah I am, I um….I'll be coming home tomorrow; is everything okay over there?" "Yeah everything is fine; the guys are finally engaged and thinking about giving their lives to God." "Wow that's great, I'm very happy for them, um…..I gotta run but I'll link up with you when I get back to town." Justin said in a hastened tone. "Alright man be safe."
Gabriel brow knitted in concern was it just his imagination or did Justin sounded really nervous just now, it was like he couldn't wait to get off the phone, and Gabriel has known Justin long enough to know that his attitude means he was hiding something but what in the world could that be.
Diane step from the lift and went into the kitchen where her sisters were preparing lunch for themselves, she had already told them that she wasn't very hungry. "Feeling better?" Dana asks as Diane took a seat on one of the chairs. A shrug of her shoulders was her only answer; Diana walks over and places a hand on her shoulder. "What's wrong Diane?" She asks in concern and Diane began fiddling with the string of her blouse.
"I was just wondering what Gabriel was up to right now." Was her sad reply. "Why don't you call him?" Dana suggests. "I already did, he said he was on his way to lunch with his friends." "Well, there's your answer," Dana said. "Just because he said it doesn't necessarily mean it's true." Diane pouts. "What? You still think he's cheating on you?" Diana asks taking a seat beside her.
Diane hung her head. "I don't know but I've been paying very close attention to him for the last couple of weeks and I've noticed that he's exercising more and he's drinking a lot more of his Supligen and eggs and have you seen the way he dresses in the mornings? I know the guy can dress; he always has great taste in clothes and shoes but now he dresses like he has a hot date or going on a photoshoot. I know that it was my idea to have his baby right now but maybe it wasn't such a great idea, maybe I should have waited a bit longer" Diane sighs.
"I think you're being ridiculous, Gabriel isn't cheating, he's a businessman, he needs to look good, there's nothing wrong with that," Diana said while laughing at the same time but Diane scowled at her. "Laugh all you want but the more I think about it the more it makes sense; it usually takes about two hours of sex and multiple positions to really satisfy him and now he's not even getting an hour and yet he keeps telling me that it's okay and that he's fine but I know he's not, especially not when he's drinking his energy drinks and pumping irons, the guy has twice the energy that he had before, so after putting two and two together I think the reason he's acting like it's no big deal, is because he's getting his satisfaction somewhere else."
"Seems to me like you need to get more creative and find other ways to satisfy your husband," Dana suggests. "I do but I don't think it's enough; I love Gabriel with all my heart but I know that eventually I'm going to lose him to some slim Barbie doll-looking tramp and there's nothing I can do to stop that," Diane said as tears ran down her cheeks.
"The devil is deceiving you Diane; I mean think about this, if Gabriel wanted to be with a slim Barbie he would have married one, but he choose you, so here's what I think you should do, go upstairs wash your face, put on one of those sexy dresses that he bought for you so that you can look good for your husband when he comes home," Diana suggests pointing to the door. Diane hung her head and left the kitchen but as she stepped from the lift upstairs she knew that no matter what she wears she still wouldn't be able to give her husband what he needs.
It was six pm when Gabriel parked his vehicle in the garage and taking up his briefcase and the bunch of red roses he had bought for his wife off the passenger seat he enters the house. He walks into the kitchen to see Diane's sisters cleaning up. "Hi ladies, how is it going?"He asks cheerfully. "Hi, Gabriel." They answer together. "Everything is fine." "Where's my wife?" "She's upstairs feeling sorry for herself." Dana laughs.
"Why would she be feeling sorry for herself?" He asks pouring himself a glass of Orange juice as Dana stifles another laugh. "Because she is getting so big," Dana said trying to wipe the smirk off her face. Gabriel chuckled in his sweet deep sexy voice that the ladies have come to know so well, yet every time he did it their knees got weak with desire. "She's supposed to get big, if she doesn't that would mean there's something wrong with the babies. Where's is Jasmine?" "She's in her room watching Dora the explorer," Dana answered with a chuckle then ads. "We will be leaving soon so could you please tell them goodbye for us." "I'll and thanks again for all your help, I'll go find my wife and cheer her up with these." He said with a mischievous grin on his face.
With the bunch of roses in his hand, he ran upstairs. Diane was leaning against a big pillow and Jasmine was leaning against her belly. They were both watching Dora. Jasmine jumped off the bed and ran to hug him as he enters the room. "Hi daddy, I'm so glad you're home. Mummy is always happier when you're at home." Lifting the child in his arms he gave her a big hug. "That just won't do, I need mummy to be happy at all times." He said putting Jasmine down.
"I'll be right back." She squeals running from the room. "Is that true?" He asks as he sat beside Diane on the bed; Place the roses in her hands and kissing her softly on her lips. "Maybe," She whispers caressing his cheek. "Thank you baby boy they're beautiful, are my sisters still here?" "Yeah, but they said they will be leaving soon." "I'll be right back; I need to talk to them before they leave." She said massaging her back as she leaves the room.
Diane steps from the lift just in time to see her sisters walking towards the garage. "Hold on a minute." She calls to them. They turn back and walk towards her. "What is it? Are you okay?" Diana asks with concern. "I need to ask you something. Have your boyfriends ever buy you roses and gifts and take you out to dinner inexpensive restaurant in the middle of the week?" She asks playing with a strand of her braids.
Her sisters look at each other and then at her. "No, mine was too busy sleeping with our niece." Dana snaps in annoyance. "And no, mine doesn't," Diana said in a weary tone. "Exactly, and that's the reason I know that something is wrong because Gabriel does. I was wondering if it's because he loves me or is he trying to hide something."Diane said with her head down so she didn't see when Diana drops her bag on the floor until she grabs her by the shoulders.
"Listen to me Diane you're our little sister and we love you but you need to wake up and realize that you have a wonderful husband because if you're not careful your attitude could push him away and trust me when I tell you this, that man is the best thing that ever happened to you or any one of us," Diana said in a stern tone Dana then turned Diane to face her.
"We wish we had a husband like Gabriel, hell I would give my right arm for a man like him. I carried two children for Brandon and what did he do? He up and left the damn country. I haven't heard from him since and then I ended up with a child molester so be grateful for what you have and stop being so damn paranoid." Dana finished in a frustrated tone. "I'm grateful and I don't want to lose Gabriel, I don't think I could survive without him, I love him, I just wonder about him sometimes." "You know what; you need to stop wondering and go show your husband just how much you love him and we'll see you tomorrow." They hug her then left.
When Diane enters the bedroom Gabriel was just coming out of the bathroom. "You okay?" He asks "Yep I'm fine; everything is fine, what are you up to?" She asks. "I notice you were rubbing your back so I was just getting the hot tub ready for you; it's time for your message." He said seductively as he puts a Neyo cd in the CD player he keeps in the bedroom. "Where's Jasmine?" She asks as Closer began playing. "Oh she fell asleep so I took her to her room."
Diane giggle and returned her own seductive smile at her husband as he dances and sing his way over to her and began undressing her and kissing her belly again and again. "Okay then, I'm ready for my massage but first I need to thank you properly for my roses." Wrapping her arms around his thick neck she buried her fingers in his hair and gave him a deep passionate kiss.
Hi there my valued readers, I love and appreciate all of you.
