Chapter 42 Clear as crystal

Gabriel arrived home with Jasmine on Tuesday night to find Karen sitting at his gate. He told Jasmine to stay in the vehicle and taking a deep breath he steps out and stands in front of her. "What are you doing here Karen?" He asks in a tired tone. "Why are you avoiding my calls? Why don't you want to talk to me, Gabriel?" She asks in a sad tone. "I've nothing to say to you Karen, now how did you get here?"

"I took a Taxi." She said stepping closer to him but he steps back. "Don't," He said holding up his palm; then taking out his phone he dials the number to a Taxi service and gave them the address where they could pick her up. "Why do you always act as if I'm not even worthy to be in your presence? What is it about me that you do not like Gabriel?" She asks with tears in her eyes.

"Listen and listen good Karen, I have nothing against you as a person but we're not friends and another thing; I know you came here with the intention of getting inside my house but that isn't going to happen, not ever, get that; now, I love the fact that you're attending church, but I hope to God you're not doing it because of me because that is just wasting your time and nothing worthwhile will come of it…."

"Wait let me…." "No… no…. listen to me." He said cutting her off again. "Come to church and seek forgiveness for your sins, not to be close to me. I'm married and I have no interest in you what so ever and for the love of God please do not come back here again; this is my wife's and I home and you're not welcome here; am I making myself clear?"

"Yes… but…" "But nothing, Don't let me regret saving you and your baby's life and now that I have, and Josh is getting his life back in order; you do the same; just stay the hell away from me and my family, now here's your Taxi, go home Karen." He said and got back in his car and opening his gate drive through as the Taxi drives away from his gate. 'You sure told her." Jasmine laughs as her dad drives up the driveway. "Some people just don't know how to take a hint." He said taking the bags from the vehicle and closing the garage door.

"Well, your point was as clear as crystal daddy." She said nodding her head firmly. "Yeah, let's hope she gets it or I'm afraid I won't be able to stop your mom from strangling her." He laughs as they enter the house. They call Diane and they prayed together for a few minutes, Jasmine then went to take her bath and he continues to talk to Diane; he then read Jasmine her bedtime story with Diane still on the phone; then after tucking Jasmine in bed he went to his room with Diane still on the phone and they talk for a while longer until she fell asleep, he then whispers I love you to her and end the call. He then let Jasmine sleep late Wednesday morning while he catches up on some work and talk to Diane on her webcam and once again her room was full with her family members and a few visitors from church.

Later that afternoon Diane relaxes against her pillow and closes her eyes as she enjoys her few minutes alone. There were so many flowers in her room that Gabriel had to take some home. The last three days were very busy for him, but he always made time for her and when he couldn't be there with her, he called her constantly. She and her sisters still keep up with the rent receipts, they would write them up while she signs them and put them in the envelopes which had the tenant's name and apartment number written on them.

They had finished all the receipts for January and Marlon had dropped them off for her and now they were on the ones for February, she knew they weren't going to finish all of them before her delivery date but she was determined to sign as much as she could, even though she knew that Gabriel and her sisters would finish the ones she didn't get to but he had so many things to do that she just wanted to help him any way she could.

The doctor had just finished examining her when Gabriel walked through the door wearing black jeans, a dark blue body shirt, and an open front dark blue jacket, god damn he looks good, she thought and smiled to herself as she felt her heart skipped a beat at the sight of him, the guy looks like he had just stepped off the page of a magazine, as busy as he had been for the last couple of days, she had expected him to be tired and worn out but to her surprise, it was quite the opposite, he looks as if he had spent the whole day at the spa and the look of admiration on the doctor's face didn't go unnoticed by Diane.

He greets the doctor then greets her with a gentle kiss on her lips. The doctor gave him a sweet smile as she left the room. "Hi beautiful, how are you feeling?" "I'm feeling fine, you look amazing." "Really? Thank you; I had my hair cut and colored today." "It's beautiful, after all this time my heart still skips a beat every time you walk into the room." "And you, as sexual as you are still send shivers down my spine every time you touch me." "That's good to know, I ask the doctor to give us about an hour before she comes back." "Why?" "Because I have a job for you." "Which is?" "I'll tell you in a few minutes, but first could you please close the door."

Gabriel did as she asks then come back and sat next to her, she positioned herself on her side, and holding his hand she put him to stand before her and began pulling his belt, realizing what she was about to do he grip her wrist. "This is really not a good idea baby girl, we can't do this here." "Why don't you want me to touch you, Gabriel?" "Of course I want you to touch me; I just don't feel comfortable doing this; here." "But we're alone and I already ask the doctor for an hour, I just want to do this one more time before I have the babies, please baby boy, I'm just going to touch you, I won't hurt myself, I promise."

"Baby, I'm fine you don't have to do this." He said kissing her fingers. "Stop saying you're fine because you're not." She snaps. "You're a very sexual man and you haven't had a release in quite a while now, well at least not from me. So tell me who have you been getting your release from Gabriel? Is it Karen? I heard she was at the house the other night, maybe after you hang up on me you went for a nightcap with her, or is it one of those beautiful women that work for you?" She asks coldly.

"Neither, baby, come on... I ..." "Don't, I knew it was only a matter of time before you stop finding me attractive, but it's okay, I don't have to touch you if you don't want me to." She said turning her back on him. "Baby, please don't be angry at me, please." "Forget it, Gabriel, I hope those slim sexy barbies are giving you all you need; I'm big and fat, so I understand why you don't want to be with me." She said tears running down her face.

"For god's sake Diane, stop it, why do you always assume that I'm cheating on you?" he asks walking around to the other side of the bed so he could face her. "Well look at me, I would cheat on me too." She cried; he pulls a chair close to the bed and sat down and took her hands in his.

"Diane, I swear on my life, I'm not cheating on you. I haven't touched another woman since the night I was with that girl after I got baptized and I couldn't even go through with it. I told you that." He said tears in his eyes. "My old self died that night and the man you see in front of you now is someone who could never and would never do anything to hurt you. I can't lose you and my kids Diane and if I choose to cheat then that's exactly what would happen, I would lose….my family… again…. and I don't think I could survive that." He said softly.

"Why? Why wouldn't you survive?" she asks without looking at him. "Because you're my heartbeat…. my breath….. my life." "Gabriel….i….." 'Please baby, please believe me." He got up and stand before her and taking her hands place them on the front of his pants. 'I won't if you don't want me to." She said not moving her hands. "Please touch me, baby, please." He pleads playing with a lock of her braid.

for a few minutes, she did nothing then slowly she loosens his belt and pulls his zip down, then slipping her hand into his pants she wrapped her fingers around his sex organ pulled it out, and began massaging it which sent sexual shock waves throughout his body, placing his hands behind his head he locks his fingers together then closing his eyes he moved his waist to the rhythm of her hands.

"That feels amazing baby girl, please don't stop, harder please." He moaned biting his lips. Diane knew just how to bring him to his peak in a hurry and she wasted no time, she knew what he liked and she gave it to him in spades and just as she had done in the hotel room she brought him to his peak twice which left him grasping the edge of the bed for support while he gasps for breath.

"You're crazy, you know that girl?" He asks seductively against her lips. "Isn't that why you wanted to have me admitted to the psychiatric ward? Now it's your turn, I'll be delivering my babies on Monday, so that means you'll have to shave me." "Whoa, you want me to shave you?" he asks in surprise. "Yep, everything you need is in that black bag over there and there's a small basin in the bathroom which you can use to wash the hair off." "But why? You're not going to have them vaginally, so why shave?" He asks. "Because I want to, I want you to, now go get the basin." She said pointing to the bathroom. "Oh boy, alright, let's do this."

"Is this the position you would be in if you were going to do a vaginal birth?" He asks sitting between her legs. "Yep pretty much, except my feet would be a lot higher." "Wow, I'm not going to lie, I'm enjoying this view, are you comfortable?" "Yes I am, but….um baby, seeing as though you won't be able to touch me sexually for the next three months, you wouldn't mind making this shave a little interesting would you?" Running his tongue over his lips he gave her a seductive mischievous smile. "With a view like this, it would be my pleasure."

Gabriel smiled as he checks his reflection in the mirror, his two friends were getting baptized today and even though their wives weren't going to be baptizing along with them he knew it wouldn't be long before they too give their lives to God, he walked over to the bedside table and picking up his watch he put it around his wrist, he was about to turn away when one of the glamour photo of him, Diane and Jasmine caught his eyes, picking up the photo he ran his fingers over it.

He knew that a part of him was sad because they couldn't be there with him today but he did promise them that he would videotape the entire baptism ceremony. Jasmine had spent the night with Diana, who'll be taking her to visit Diane this morning. He would be going there as soon as the service was over.

Jasmine was busy telling her mother and aunts about all the new stuff daddy had brought her and how beautiful her room was and about the three new puppies when Gabriel entered the room, Jasmine ran over and hugs him tightly. "Hi daddy, guess what, mummy and I just came up with three great names for our puppies, since they're all boys we're going to name them Rover, Maxi, and Blaze, do you like their names daddy?" She asks with enthusiasm. "Yes I do, those are very nice names." He said kissing her on her forehead. He greets her sisters then greets Diane with a gentle kiss on her lips.

A few hours later the doctor came in and told them that Diane needs to rest and that they all had to leave. After saying their goodbyes Diane's sisters took Jasmine outside while Gabriel kissed his wife goodbye. "I love you, my sweet beautiful wife." "And I love you more my gorgeous husband, can you believe it, by this time tomorrow we'll be holding our new babies, after all these months we're finally going to see what they look like, I'm so excited baby boy, I can't wait."

"Neither can I baby girl, neither can I, now promise me you'll call me as soon as you wake up okay, it's not like I'll be sleeping." He laughs. "Don't worry I'll and baby boy, please drive home safely." "I will." He whispers against her lips. "I love you little ones and I can't wait to meet you tomorrow." He said kissing her stomach and after giving her a long passionate kiss which left her breathless he kisses her stomach again and left the room.

Diana and Dana came home with him, they gave Jasmine something to eat then Dana help her with her bath while Diana made sure her uniform was ready and that she had all her books in her bag, when they had finish organizing her things for school the next day, they left. Gabriel then went and read her bedtime story. After reading a few pages he saw that her eyes were closed and thinking that she was asleep he pulled the covers up to her shoulders and was about to leave when Jasmine opened her eyes. "Do you think I'll be a good big sister daddy?"

He turns and faces her with a smile. "Of course you will, you're going to be a wonderful big sister." "Will you still love me when you bring home your new babies, daddy?" Hearing the fear in the child's voice Gabriel walks over to her and placing her on his lap he hugs her tightly against his chest. "You're my daughter little one and I'll always love you." "Even though I have your last name, I know you're not my real daddy and the children in my class said that you're only my father because you're married to my mom."

"Wow, I guess they're all up in your cool Aid huh?" "You can say that again." The child said making a funny face and he couldn't help but laugh. "But where that may be true, I know you heard that I had lost my family, well except for my aunt, but God has blessed me with a new family and even though I'm not the one that put you in your mother's tummy, I love you as if you were my biological child, you and your mom and your baby brother and sister are the most important people in my life and there's nothing in this world I wouldn't do for all of you, I love all my children equally and I never want you to question my love for you okay."

"Okay daddy, my real daddy may not have wanted me but God has given me one that does, and that makes me happy." She kisses his cheek and crawled back onto the bed and pulls the covers up to her chin. "Good night daddy I love you." "I love you too little one, now get some sleep," he whispers kissing her forehead.

Gabriel had just stepped from the shower when his gate buzzer rang, he checked the video monitor and saw that it was Marlon and Mike so he let them in and went downstairs to open the door. A few minutes later they entered the house. "What in the world are you guys doing here? Shouldn't you be home with your wives?" "Our wives gave us permission to come and check on our friend, so are you ready to handle two screaming newborns?" Mike asks.

"As ready as I'll ever be and thank you for coming all the way over here to check on me but as you can see I'm fine but I do have some work to finish on my laptop so you guys can get back to your wives and I'll go get this done." "Don't sweat it, man we have some time to kill, you go do what you have to, we'll just help ourselves to your fridge in the meantime," Marlon said heading towards the kitchen. "Alright, suit your selves."
