CHAPTER 7 – The Unexpected Turn of Event
The morning breeze in the unadulterated serene morning, coming inside her window that slightly opens.
The richness that trickles into her existence.
A new sunrise, that she prayed would bring an opulent and blissful experience throughout the day.
Happily, the young beautiful maiden arises as she could ready for church.
She needs to be early since the young CEO will fetch her later.
Aunt Clara apparently invited her to have dinner with them, and she couldn't refuse because the Mrs. won’t take ‘NO’ for an answer.
The CEO’s personal assistant has no choice but to indulge her demand and in a sense, she’s okay with it, because she can finally visit again her aunt Clara, she misses her very much.
In the end, her not refusing the request of Howell’s invitation leads to a good outcome, but she is slightly nervous because she will be able to meet the most successful tycoon in the field of business.
Mr. Gareth Howell is ‘British but with a Filipino heart’ that’s what the most known magazine in the world named him.
She is anxious no question about that, but she needs to tough it up….. Since this is part of her experience that she needs to be used to and with that in mind she instantly went to her bathroom.

The gorgeous CEO is so displeased not able to stop her loving mother from her entreaty to her.
She’s trying to apprehend it but her mother’s capability to smooth talk against her will or let’s rephrase it, to manipulate her is so amazingly jaw-dropping.
She couldn’t believe but to shake her head, she is now on the way to her personal assistant’s house.
They already talk that she will pick her up.
The truth is, her beautiful PA refuses to fetch her.
The former even told the latter that she will just waste her time since she already knows the place and she can go there alone.
Her PA even told the young CEO that ‘it will be so ill-mannered if she will fetch her since she’s the one being invited’.
She just laughs at the thought that her lovely PA is really very innocent, so principled in her life and her being.
The young CEO meets different types of people, but because of her status in society she can easily manipulate or she could play them in the palm of her hand.
But why she could not do it to her young PA.
She has difficulty to charm, pursued, or even controls her.

She’s nearing the house of her young PA……. she saw her in their front yard talking to a woman.
Suddenly her brows crest when she saw the woman clinging to her PA like a gecko with a big smile plastered on her face.
The young CEO immediately maneuvers her car to park in front of the house, when she is sure she park her car appropriately, she hurriedly gets out of her vehicle.
“Ms. Jade good morning! I’m glad you are not having difficulties finding our house.” Warmly greeted her PA to her with a wide beam daubed on her beautiful face.
“Good morning as well, Althea can I use your comfort room please.” Uttered the young CEO, instead of answering the young PA’s question.
The truth is, she just wants the woman to remove her hold on her young PA, and she really doesn’t understand why she is so peeved about what she saw.
“Hmmm, come, Ms. Jade, follow me……. Come in, I’m sorry if our house is a little bit small.” Apologetically expressed the PA to the young CEO.
“Nonsense, it’s fine Althea, no need to apologize and one more thing removes the Ms., call me Jade instead. Besides we are not at work now.” Explained the young CEO.
“If you say so Ms….. I mean Jade.” She averted shyly her gaze to the young CEO.
Jade just shaking her head when she saw how cute her beautiful PA with a very flushed face.
As she entered the comfort room, she steadily her heartbeat and calm herself, she doesn’t understand why Althea has a very strong effect on her.
It even gets worst when she saw what her PA wore, it really fits her perfectly making her so stunningly gorgeous, even without make-up on.
Jade also notice it even in going to the office, Althea never wore make-up just lipstick and she’s done.
As she came out of the comfort room she notices that the two women are still talking, she coughs faintly just to get their attention.
“I am sorry Ms…..I mean Jade for not noticing you, it's just that..... my childhood friend is excited to get to know you if that’s okay with you of course.” The young PA timidly spoke, while rubbing her nape, indicating that she is reluctant about what her childhood friend wants her to do.
“Of course, it’s a pleasure to meet the childhood friend of my stunning PA.” Jade playfully stated while winking to Althea, while the former just bows her head at how her boss is so outspoken.
Gladly Jade’s apprehension towards her feelings changes when she confirmed that the woman she saw clinging to Althea a while ago is just a friend who by the way is fangirling to her right now.
“Hi I’m Jade Howell and you are?” She extended her hand to the girl in front of her, just staring at her.
“Lea’ hey! Jade is introducing herself to you, she extended her hand to you, accept it.” Waking up her friend from gawking at the young CEO in front of them.
“I am really sorry Ms. Jade, your beauty is so mesmerizing…… you are more beautiful in person.” Admiring the young CEO.
"It is an honor to meet you Ms. Jade, by the way I'm Lea, childhood best friend of your beautiful PA.” Introduce the woman while winking to her best friend, agreeing with what the young CEO describe her.
“Likewise Lea and I know right? Althea is beautiful indeed.” And again Jade agreed with a wide smile looking at the woman they are both complementing with a reddened face.
They both even laugh while Althea’s brows were creased.
Jade is really relieved that Lea is just a sister to Althea and she is glad that her PA has a friend like Lea.
Althea asked her best friend to watch her mom while she’s away.
Her aunt Choleng can’t come to their house today because she visited one of her relatives who passed away.
That’s why she asked Lea if she could accompany her mom to their house.
After the two bid goodbye to Althea’s mother, they then leave.
