CHAPTER 13 – NE PEUT PAS LETTRE

“Cha, do you hear me? “ Asking the young surgeon again, it seems she’s not in herself at that moment.

“Ow…..sorry, what is it again?” Now back to reality, Glaiza is always hesitant to acknowledge the endearment she uses to hear from her ex.

Sometimes she is cringing hearing it from the mouth of Anne who she loved wholeheartedly before.

But knowing that there are no permanent in this world and the love that there before was now replace with just friendship.

She’s really hurt when she and Anne broke up it shattered her to pieces……….she thought that her ex and her will end up at the altar and be together forever building a very happy family, but sometimes faith is playing trickster to us……tasting the waters and our capability to love and forgive.

That’s why she is here on this roller coaster ride, trying to understand the feelings that Anne showing to her.

The young doctor doesn't want to be in this situation anymore, but it's very hard for her ex-girlfriend to understand, enough is enough, she’s been fooled twice and to allow her to be fooled again is genuinely stupidity.

It makes you stupid if you accept the person who broke your heart not just once or twice but three times.

And you are not even sure if only three times she betrayed you, because you only see her three times in the act …….maybe she’s been doing these when you were still together.

It’s hard so hard, especially if you love the person so much.

“Anne can you stop calling me that……we are not together anymore and besides as I have known, you are happy now with your boyfriend, so please just for your boyfriend's sake respect him.” Letting her colleague who is her ex understand their situation.

The young doctor hates insulting anybody she dreaded the idea of that notion.

“I have to go.” She really needs to be blunt with her ex-girlfriend and make her realize her mistakes.

But before he could step away from his ex-girlfriend, she pulled her and dragging her in a secluded portion of the hospital.

“Anne…..” But before she could ask anything……… her ex-girlfriend leaned her against the wall, cornering her with both her ex’s arms and leaning so ever close to her.

“I’m not ready to let you go, Cha…….and I will never be. And whatever you say, I would never give a damn to it!” She irritatingly responded to the young doctor.

How can she makes the woman in front of her understand that there is no hope for them to be together…… even if Anne turns the world upside down there is no hope that they will ever go back as lovers.

Suddenly, her ex-girlfriend grabbed her and kissed her, forcing herself to her.

Struggling so hard she pushes her ex away from her, composing herself to not get infuriated.

She must not be affected by this woman …… she doesn't want trouble, as long as she could still talk to her with senses, then she will do all her power to not hate her guts.

“Anne please listen to me and listen to me carefully (holding both of her ex-girlfriend’s face, who is now crying)…….we are over……long over. Our love story was over a long time ago …… you finished it long ago and aren't you happy? (Anne, shakes her head looking at the eyes of the woman who love her so much before, who is now pleading and trying to talk to her with sense.) Don’t let what you feel from me in the past overpower you Anne……please I beg of you let go…let go of the past……because I already did and I accepted that we are better off as friends no more, no less.

It’s been a year Anne, please stop it, I don’t want to see you like this.” Talking some sense to her ex.

“No! Glai, I can’t! Do you understand me?!” Saying it with finality.

Holding the hands of the woman she loves who is holding her face as well, sandwiching it on top of her own.

“Anne I can’t tolerate this behavior of yours anymore…….we need to talk, we had to put an end to this.”

Explain the young surgeon, removing her hands.

“Glai, please?” Begging, she did try to let go but she’s failing….she’s failing miserably.

“We will talk about this okay? But not here, we are in our workplace and someone is waiting for me.” The young doctor finally turns her back on her, but before she left she smiled at her ex-girlfriend assuring that they will resolve this thing, whatever this is, and touching Anne’s face reverently for one last time.

Even if we say that her ex-girlfriend hurt her, she also doesn't want them to have a dispute over their past, they have been friends since grade school and their friendship was deep enough even before they became a couple.

She doesn’t like to end their friendship just like that……even Anne hurt her repeatedly, she will still hold on but only for being friends.

No more no less.

“Where is she?” Dr. de Castro just arrived in her office, asking her secretary about her patient.

When she arrived at the Emergency Room after the talk with Anne, she was looking for her patient.......but then the nurse who has there, informed her that the said patient is waiting for her in her office.

“She’s inside Doc, waiting patiently for you.” Answered her assistant to her, standing up on her table and giving the young doctor her schedule for that day.

“Thanks, Angela.” Thanking her secretary and proceed directly to her office.

As she opens her office door, the young doctor notices the lady standing in front of her floor-to-ceiling glass window looking at the scenery in front of her.

“You are very late.” The woman spoke without even looking at the young doctor.

“Good Afternoon to you too, and how you know it’s me?” Giving the Arameda an afternoon greeting while surprise how she knows it’s her to think she never turn around.

“I can sense your presence and smell you G so don’t be surprised…….you know it already, why you ask still?” Answered the young doctor’s question at the same time turning around looking at her with a wide smile etched on the young Arameda heiress face.

“I missed you!” Running towards the doctor’s direction with open arms.

The young doctor just shakes her head at how the Arameda woman overly acted, how can she not when they just saw each other yesterday.

Nonetheless, she hugs the young heiress, before having her tantrums.

This is their everyday routine………the moment she said yes to Doctor Fabean Arameda’s request, that is to be the Psychiatrist of her daughter…………the young Arameda never leave her side.

And the changes of the young heiress behavior are unbelievably amazing…….good changes may we speak.

Physically and mentally, her eccentricities were notices by her family and they thank the young Dr. de Castro for that.

Now their young princess is leaving her life to the fullest………no more bad dreams at night……..no more being bipolar….…………..she is now being normal.

“Really now? We just see each other yesterday.” Truthfully uttered to the young Arameda who hugs her.

Suddenly the woman looking at her doctor………eyeing at her indifferently with pouted lips.

“Oh……why such face young lady? Didn’t I tell the truth?” Jokingly she said.

“I’m so in love with you.” Whispered the young heiress not minding what her Psychiatrists said to her, it was almost audible to the young doctor’s hearing, but the young Psychiatrist still manages to hear what the latter said.

Oh..oh.....
