FOUR: Mysterious Student

" ah I'm hungry... " I said to myself and packed my things and went out. I was on my way to buy snacks when someone made me stop from my tracks which made me look at them.

" oh? uh..A..? Andrea right? " I said surprise. " Oh! Yes yes! Eliana? are you on your way to buy food too? " she said and I nodded as a response. " I'm going there too! Let's go together " she said and locked our arms together. I smiled and answered " let's go then "

" Let's sit there " Andrea said as she pointed to a bench near a tree, I nodded and we both went closer and sat on it

" sooo how was the campus? do you like it? " Andrea asked me as she took a bite from her sandwich. " hmm It's really nice here, I like it. I have never thought of studying here for my college years... " I said to her and took a sip of my strawberry milk

" glad you like it here " She said and smiled at me and ofcourse I also smiled at her. My eyes then started to wander around the area we are currently in and my eyes landed on a group of girls, they were 3 of them. They were the same girls who were staring at me as I step out of Grayson's car earlier and when I was about to enter my first class and now they are staring

at me again...right now. huh weird.

I know that students here will stare at me for a long time since I am new here but the fact that I saw them staring at me 3 times now and their stares feel different...I don't know It's just feel different. They feel different.

" Uhh Andrea? " I said, she hummed in response and I asked " Do you know them? " as I secretly point my fingers at those 3 girls. " hmmm not really but I do know one of them I mean not really but the name. Her name, I know her name " she said

" ahhh...what's her name then? " I asked once again. " Student's here usually calls her ' Joy ', It's her nickname. But her full name is I think Maria Joyce...? her last name is ah... I don't know, I can't remember " She said and I nodded and looked at that ' Joy ' girl again

And ofcourse when I looked at her she was staring at me, she then smirks which shocked me and after that, she left together with the other 2 girls she was with. what was that about? why did she smirk at me?

huh...weird...really weird...

" Eliana? " the sudden voice made me snap from my thoughts, " huh? " I replied. " I asked if you're free after class? " Andrea asked and looked at me, " uh? ahh no I mean yes I am free, why do you ask? " I respond

she smiled at me before saying " want to come with us? we're going to the new cat cafe not far from the school after class ". I bite my lips, hesitating to answer. I don't know the people she will be with...I might feel out of place- Andrea cut me off by saying " don't worry I'm only bringing one person, She is my childhood best friend. You'll like her! I promise! "

Did she just read my mind- I thought about it for a while. Andrea was looking at me waiting for me to answer. " okay, I'll go hehe " I said to her and she looked happy hearing my answer " yes! let's meet at the gate then? after class? " I nodded and smiled at her

I scan through the crowd of people that was at the entrance of the campus trying to find Andrea. " here! Eliana! " someone shouted, my eyes quickly landed on the area where I heard the voice. It was indeed Andrea.

She was with someone, the person she was with had short black hair and was taller than her slightly. I went up to them and smiled. " Eliana this is Angeline. Angeline, Eliana " Andrea introduced both of us

Angeline slightly bow at me and said " ah hehe nice to meet y-you " and I replied with " nice to meet you too... " and smiled at her

" Both of you get really shy and nervous when meeting new people huh? " Andrea said to us and Angeline and I looked at each other and we both giggled, Andrea did too

" Let's go then! " Andrea said and all of us started walking

" ooohhh this place is nice, don't you think so too Eliana? " Angeline said to me and I nodded.

" The food tastes good too, here Angeline have a taste of my coffee! " Andrea said and gave coffee to Angeline for her to taste it

" oh not bad, It's nice " Angeline said after she took a sip of the coffee. " I'm guessing you don't drink coffee that much huh? " I said to Angeline,

She looked at her drink, It was a strawberry soda before smiling at me and said " uh yeah haha, I'm not a big fan of coffee but I drink it sometimes and I'm also lactose intolerant...I don't want to feel any pain today haha so I didn't order a frappe " She replied and my mouth formed an 'o' shape and was slowly nodding my head

I suddenly felt my phone vibrate, I was holding my phone in my left hand. I opened it and saw a message from Grayson

Omg...I forgot to tell him I'm with Andrea and Angeline. His text was " where are you? ".

I replied with " Sorry. I'm hanging out with 2 people right now. I forgot to tell you... "

Put my phone down on the table and waited for his reply. I continued to chat with Angeline and Andrea, not too long after I put down my phone I heard it vibrate again, I flip it over and press the home button and read the message

" oh I see, have fun then " was his message, I replied with " hm yes " and put my phone down again on the table and looked at Andrea and Angeline

We continued to stay at the cafe chatting, eating, laughing and playing with the cats for hours
