I made myself an omelet and toast 2 pieces of bread for my breakfast...lunch? ah whatever my brunch for today. I made my way to the dining room and place my food on the table and sat down, took a bite of the omelet then I suddenly realize I forgot my phone. I groaned in frustration and stand up and make my way back to my room

I was walking down the stairs when I opened my phone and saw a message from my mom and Grayson, I first opened the message from my mom, All messages were sent around 10 o'clock and the text was, 'Mom: Did Grayson left his laptop in his room? can you go check honey?' then the other text was 'Mom: If you found it can you bring it to his apartment? I think he really needs it now ', my eyes widened after reading the second message

why the fuck does it have to be me? apartment? he has an apartment...? but he was just sleeping here last week...I already made it to the dining room again, I sat down and took another bite of my food while I open the message from Grayson, 'Grayson: Eliana, did I left my laptop there?' was his message. It was sent around 10:36 am. I rolled my eyes and sighed

" ugh fine. I will look for it later but let me eat first " I said to my phone, pretending that as I was talking to my mom and Grayson in a call and exit the messages and went to my Instagram to browse while I eat

When I entered Grayson's room my gaze immediately landed on the object that was on top of the bed. pfft, why did he have to forget his laptop here. I opened my phone and text my mom saying 'I found it. I'll go return it to him now' and another text to Grayson saying 'You did. I will be going to your apartment to give it to you'

I went to my room to change my clothes. I can't believe my mom texted me the complete address of Grayson's apartment. She also said It is not far from the house so I won't be having a hard time finding it, I guess? Oh well I will also take this chance to explore the city so I need to go out anyway, I grabbed my bag and wallet before leaving my room

I walked past my brother in the living room and I guess he felt my presence and turn around to face me, " heyyy, where are you going? " he asked, " going to return something " I said to him and left the house

I said thank you to the taxi driver as I gave him the money. okay...not gonna lie, We did get lost ...but! but the important thing is that I am now here...hehe...

The driver already left when I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket so I took it out and saw Grayson was calling me, why is he calling me? I answered the call and said 'hello?'

" hey uh I just saw your message just right now, Are you on your way to my apartment ?" he said, " oh...actually I am already in front of the building of your apartment " I said to him, " Oh fuck uhm so the password is 5451, You can place it on the desk inside my room. I am currently doing my groceries...so yeah that is why I am not home " he said to me and I let out an 'ahhh' sound, I told him an 'okay' and after that, he ended the call

I was finally inside his apartment and It was not gonna lie beautiful. Fancy furniture all over the place. I opened one room guessing it was his room and I was right, I went closer to the desk and place the laptop there, after that I scanned through his room because why not...I wanna explore. His room looked really cool

I was so amused at everything in the house that I didn't realize I was about to hit something,my leg accidentally hit his nightstand table and a couple of things fell down. I whispered a 'shit' and went down to pick up all the things and place them all back on the table again. I also whispered a 'sorry' to the table and left his room

After exploring the place for a couple more minutes I decided to leave already. As I closed the front door of his house I messaged Grayson saying 'done. It is already on your desk', placed my phone inside my bag after sending the message and decided to have a walk around to explore the city

Third-person POV

When Eliana accidentally hit the nightstand table and went to pick up all the things that fell she didn't realize she forgot to take another one. The item went under the bed, a reason why she probably didn't notice it being there. Unaware that the item that she forgot to put back was actually important to Grayson.
