CHAPTER XXI

Who knows how many days Josh stares at the table where he usually eats, empty. There is no Aidan there. The anger that has settled in his heart now turns into a feeling of disappointment. The friend who is usually always with him, now choose to hang out with his drama club.

Initially, their practices were only on certain days after school. However, they get more and more intense, even taking the lunch break. Josh tries not to blame Aidan for his actions because he knew it was his duty on Mr. Connor’s social project. Josh's chess club doesn't have as many activities as drama club, but still his chest hurts a little when he thinks Aidan prefers to spend his time with the drama club rather than with him.
