CHAPTER XXII

Aidan taps his pencil on the table. Right now, his mood still hasn't improved. His bickering with Josh still upsets him, plus he has to do grueling training at the drama club. He is so looking forward to the end of this damn arts festival and coming back to his quiet life. Maybe his life wouldn't have been this grim if there that social project and his bickering did not happen.

Aidan looks back at Josh's seat. The young man is being serious writing notes in his book. It's so unusual, Aidan thought, since when has he been so diligent? He immediately looks away to avoid Josh noticing him. Supposedly, yesterday he didn't have to be that angry with Josh, but he is not sure. He is just afraid that Josh would rather hunt alone and leave him out. Aidan suddenly feels very sad.
