CHAPTER XXVI

A large banner is installed in the main corridor of the school which reads “MOUNTAIN SIDE HIGH ARTS FESTIVAL”.

The school atmosphere seems very busy. All clubs are preparing their highlights for the arts festival tonight. In addition, Mr. Connor keeps reminding his students to finish their individual reports.

"My report definitely won't be more than a hundred words," Josh says. "The chess club is really boring."

The two young men walk down the corridor of the school which is currently full of students passing by. Aidan stops and pats Josh on the chest.

"Psst," he whispers, pointing forward with his head.

Josh looks where Aidan is pointing. There, Miss Silver is standing outside the classroom door, staring at the two of them. Her arms fold across her chest, her eyes glare on the two young men, openly watching them.

"Looks like our act yesterday didn't quite work," Josh whispers.
