I turned my laptop on and emailed her.
"Hi, good day! I'm a fan. If you're not busy, I would like to invite you on a friendly date. Don't worry, I'm not in a hurry. I just want to ask you questions regarding your book and I want to meet the writer of this excellent book. Have a great day, miss."
I breathed deeply and hit the send button. There's no turning back.
I was about to close the tab when I got a message.
My eyes grew bigger. I held my open mouth with my two hands. I was frozen for a second. Then when I realized that she replied instantly, my hands became sweaty. I panicked a little as I open her reply.
"I don't know you. Sorry, I'm not interested. But I appreciate your message and thanks for liking my book. Have a nice day."
My shoulders were down as I read her reply. My smile faded and it was turned upside down.
It felt like I was chasing someone because of how I typed faster than usual.
"Should I come to your house then?" (never do what he did. if someone says no, then no. don't force them because they'll be uncomfortable.)
Within a second, she replied back. "No, don't. Fine. Let's meet on Friday." I smiled as I read her email. I played it again and again in my mind.
