[Horn- the horn of a horned rabbit. Damage: +5]

'What?' -Ryker thought as he examined the horn on his hand. It was a grey twisted horn of about 10cm. It fit perfectly on his hand.

'Can I use these horns as weapons? Can I just throw it with [Power shot]? I wonder if my [Double shot] will reproduce this too. Well let's see'

He then started looking for his next victim. Strangely enough, there were hundreds of horned rabbits but not other hunters. Currently, he was the only person in the entire grasslands. The grasslands stretched as far as his eyesight could reach and there was a huge rabbit sleeping in the middle. It was 2m tall and around 5m long, the antlers on its head were easily 50cm. It was the only rabbit with antlers instead of horns.

Ryker assumed it was the boss of this area but as it was sleeping for now then he would not disturb it. He still needed to test his spells. He decided to first try the power shot with his pistol and then try it with the rabbit horn.

"Power shot!"

His gun started glowing green, it was just an outline at first but as the seconds passed it started encompassing the entire weapon. Soon, the rabbit he was going to realized the danger, it looked at him with his red eyes and then screeched. This alerted the surrounding rabbits and soon there were ten rabbits charging at him from all directions.

"F*ck" -he muttered under his breath.

The other rabbit didn't have time to alert his companions because it was attacked suddenly. This one had time while he charged his spell to react. While his spell was still charging the rabbit's horn started glowing, the rabbits stopped on their tracks but were soon lifted by an invisible force.

*Pew*

Ryker released his spell as he knew he didn't have much time. A blue mana pellet shot straight in the air followed by another one, he had managed to charge it up to 7 seconds. When the rabbit got hit by both shots, it disintegrated.

Notifications appeared on his vision but he ignored them. The rabbits were flying straight at him, it was as if they were swords looking to use him as a pincushion. He rolled to the side as the first rabbits zoomed by his head. Rabbits were flying in all directions. If he didn't move, he would die.

"Cherry Bombs!"

Two fist-sized cherries appeared in his hands. He threw one to the right and the other to the left. Of course, his attack was doubled and two cherry bombs were launched in each direction. After three seconds they imploded.

Almost all the rabbits were caught in the explosions, while only half of them died, the rest were injured. They didn't back down tho. Their horns started grazing Ryker and blood started spilling out of his wounds.

He greeted his teeth to endure the pain. He then shot his pistol and threw the horns he acquired. He was like a killing tornado. Magic pellet. Bam. Rabbit killed. Horn. Spluch. It pierced a rabbit's eye killing instantly.

After 5min of fighting finally, the last rabbit turned into pixels. He currently had around 10HP left. He lost four fingers, there were holes on his legs, arms, shoulders. He collapsed on the ground as his stamina had also run out.

After all that fighting he managed to level up three times reaching level 4. His wounds healed but he remained exhausted. It was a really hard game and it was just the newbie village. That is why not a lot of people were currently playing the game.

In his panel there was a new icon, it was a book with a paw print. When he opened it there was nothing but an image of the rabbits he killed just now.

On the outside world, there was a huge commotion going on. Suddenly, every screen on the planet showed a message.

"When the future phantoms return,

As long as the eggs don't hatch,

This poem was repeated over and over again and it lasted for around an hour. Everyone was cracking their brain trying to figure out what it meant. Ryker was oblivious to this as he was inside the virtual world. One thing was for sure, once people realized the meaning behind the message, his experience in Kingdom of Shadows would not be so quiet anymore as literally, everyone would rush in to play the game.
