The year is 2025 when the new VR game, Kingdom of Shadows, is released to the world. The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where humans have special abilities.

Luca is a high school boy who gets recruited by a company to play the game and unravel its secrets. However, he soon realizes that this might be more than just a game. 

When the fate of humanity is held by a young boy, will we be able to survive and prevent a catastrophe?

"As you can see here, these crystals are not fake. The nobles just wanted them for themselves so they pretended to break them when they were actually collecting them." -Ryker's voice reverberated throughout the plaza. It seemed to come from all directions.

"T-that is not true! These stones were already here! They are mine!!" -screamed the noble lady. She could not tolerate the humiliation she was now under.

The crowd was not dumb. They knew that whoever beat the nobles was very powerful but they were still normal people so they would not dare speak against the nobles, at least not in front of them. It was akin to suicide.
