The year is 2025 when the new VR game, Kingdom of Shadows, is released to the world. The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where humans have special abilities.

Luca is a high school boy who gets recruited by a company to play the game and unravel its secrets. However, he soon realizes that this might be more than just a game. 

When the fate of humanity is held by a young boy, will we be able to survive and prevent a catastrophe?

<p>To say Ryker was surprised was an understatement. He was alarmed, shocked, worried, just to name a few. How in the hell were they being controlled? He closed off his eyes and with the help of his [Calm Mind] skill, he slowly visualized a protection rune on his mind. He actually had to first shape his mind, give it a form, and then draw the rune on it.  </p>

<p>He willed his mind to take the form of a house. There were several floors and rooms. There was a room where he kept his childhood memories, another one where he kept a list of everyone he had ever met, their names, their ages, there was a kitchen where he could taste and visualize every single dish he had ever eaten. Then there was a locked room, it had the words "Magic" written on the door. It was closed off with chains and locks. Ryker ignored it for now as he walked around his house.  </p>
