66) Twin Daggers (II)

To this day, Angelo kept revisiting their parent's graves. He felt some sort of remorse for killing their parents and thanks to his phantom affinity, every time he wanted to speak with them, he would bring them back to life momentarily. For the first years they still looked normal but now their bodies had deteriorated too much and everytime they walked out from the ground, they were more rotted and with less skin and organs.

They had retained their sanity at first but now, they would just beg Angelo to let them go and rest. He said he would but he never let their souls go. His brother, Ethan, had tried to make him do it against his will but when he entered his mind he saw how his brother had lost it a long time ago, so he decided to let him roam free and do what he needed to in order to protect him. Ethan was the brains and Angelo the muscle.

They were not a perfect family but when it came to missions, they were the perfect team.
