Mae's anger was nothing to take lightly; smoldering under the surface like a volcano before an eruption. While she appeared calm and collected on the surface, putting forth a malicious yet serene presence, she stood and turned from the Kaldi'fa guild's table.

"You'll get your payment Jye'yan, but don't get too greedy. Those who want everything, tend to get nothing at all," Mae explained as she walked away.

"Is that supposed to be some sort of a threat?" Jye'yan scoffed from the head of the table.

"No, just some friendly advice."

"I knew you had changed, but I never imagined you had slipped so low." Mae heard Baas remark and listened as he slid his chair from the table.

"You should stay out of this Baasdefen," Gat commented.

"Let's go Mae," Baas said as he marched up behind her and then lead their way out of the building at a quickened pace.
