Mae was laying back, propped up by a smooth, oversized pillow, between the large light crystal and an exquisitely designed medicine cabinet, as Nimaro who was sitting at her side, carefully tended to her wounds.

"Your skin is too fragile for this kind of repair," he spoke quietly having finished cleaning them. "Lucky for you, we have a different way; no re-stitching required."

"Lucky indeed," she replied as he turned his attention to the medicine cabinet. "I can't imagine anyone more suited to seeing to my recovery."

"I am fortunate that I get to be so selfish with you. I do not like the thought of another seeing you like this. Not when I am more than capable of tending to you."

"Oh? So, you do have a touch of jealousy in you after all."

"Perhaps that is what I feel, but it is too foreign for me to understand," he replied with a glib tone and faint grin, to the sound of tin touching stone.
