"Alone at last," Nimaro stated as he moved around behind Mae, slowly gliding his fingers down her arms, stealing the clump of moss from her hand.

"Something you've been looking forward to?" she asked, leaning back against him.

"An opportunity, I was uncertain, we'd be afforded before dinner. And while I guessed tonight, we'd be able to share a bed," he whispered, setting the moss aside as he sunk further down into the water, "I feared you'd be exhausted."

Slipping further down into the water, he took a hold of her waist and dragged her out into the deeper waters.

"I'm already exhausted and the day's barely half over," she muttered, closing her eyes as she leaned her head back against his shoulder, giving in to the sweet intimacy the seclusion of the pond provided.
