Pillows and Blankets

~Chapter 110~

Dinner was enjoyable, even though Kyurn was late to the table. He had been busy parading around the town with the Cyb'nyk, ensuring their safety.

After dinner, as the noise in the campground picked up, the four hunkered down for the night, distracting themselves with the board game Athilaan had stowed for them in the top of the closet. Mae was certain they were participating more for her sake then their own, but her insistence on playing was to ensure Baas stayed inside, minimizing drunks from getting bad ideas.

"Your turn," Kyurn said handing the dice to Baas. "Role a six for me, alright?"

"Personally, I'm aiming for a 10. I want the yellow box."

"Property," Mae corrected, "and be careful not to roll an 11 or we'll have to send you back to jail." Grinning, because anything less than a six would benefit her.
