Elahemé (Mae) loved the life she shared with her husband, Jack and their dog, Koobs. She never expected that one day, she would fall into the arms of an alien, a half-blood Ech’latean, named Venificus (Ven), with explosive consequences. Carried through the Dailen Shaad, she quickly discovers that she is injured and trapped in a world that isn’t her own. "Mae, Kyurn's asking for you," Athilaan said as he came out into the living room of the cabin.

She had been sitting with Baas and Pyde on the couch, waiting for Kina to finish with Strativar for what felt like over an hour, when Athilaan appeared.

"He's awake?" she nearly shouted as she jumped from the couch and ran towards him.

"He still weak, but yes, he's awake."

"Thank you, Athilaan, for watching over him," she said as she hugged him.

"Well, he's not so bad, for a dragon. I'll be out here, preparing him something to eat."

Mae thanked him again, composing herself before entering the first bedroom where Kyurn was laying on his side watching the entry way.

"Hey," she said as she moved towards him. "Welcome back. You had me really terrified there for a moment."

"What? Did you really think something like this would finish me off?" he remarked, motioning for her to come and sit on the bed.
