Baas harshly cleared his throat, "Pardon the interruption."

"Regretful, but necessary," Nimaro replied as he took a hold of Mae's hand, guiding her to the far lounger before turning to face the new arrival. "Thank you for joining us, Andarow."

"Oh, but it's quite the honor to be summoned by an Aspect, my lord," he replied with a polite bow and dip of his wings, the slight quake in his voice belying the façade of elegance he was presenting.

Nimaro chuckled as he sat down next to Mae. "There is no need for that. I am no one's lord. Speak to me as you would any other."

"I'm certain this won't be the last time you will have to remind me. Some habits are quite difficult to break."
