Elahemé (Mae) loved the life she shared with her husband, Jack and their dog, Koobs. She never expected that one day, she would fall into the arms of an alien, a half-blood Ech’latean, named Venificus (Ven), with explosive consequences. Carried through the Dailen Shaad, she quickly discovers that she is injured and trapped in a world that isn’t her own. Follow Mae’s journey as she struggles, learns and adventures, while striving to find a way back home.

Mae and Baas enjoyed their conversation over lunch. The time they shared together was magical in the way the world faded into the background, leaving only the sound of their voices, the fragrances and the incredible, flavorful food.


When their lunch was finished, they made their way to the kitchen where Baas waited at the display case for Xioria to look in his direction. Nodding, he made certain she saw him set her note into his pocket, before saying, "We enjoyed our food. It was even better than I remembered. We look forward to enjoying it again soon."


"We would certainly like to see you again," she remarked as they turned to walk away.


"I believe that has already been arranged," Baas replied over his shoulder, before they continued on their way, Mae watching Xioria's eyes light up to his response even as she desperately tried to conceal the tears welling into them and the smile she couldn't quite suppress.
