With the inquisition over, Iozin was taken from the room by Hexatep and Keziah, and the aftermath of the day's events began.

Fon, who perhaps out of embarrassment, refused to speak to anyone, was taken away by Me'Lau, after they were informed that she was free to visit with Iozin while he was being treated in the clinic. And with them gone, the quiet atmosphere of the room shifted harshly, as Baas and Pyde both bounded their way over to where Mae was still sitting with Jasper and Rah'dimah.

"What happened to you?" The concern poured from Baas' lips as he dropped to his knees before Mae, grabbed a hold of her, and pulled her to his chest.
