One Way or Another

When Mae arrived in clinic room number 3, Nimaro was resting, albeit in his least favorite position, belly down, upon the bed. At a glance, he appeared to be sleeping, his akress, mostly limp around him, only the tips alert and swaying. Making her way, quietly, around to the far side of the bed, she removed her robe and boots, and crawled beneath the covers, laying her head back against the pillow to stare up at the elaborately painted ceiling.

Kina had taken an interest in the renaissance and high renaissance era of artwork and commissioned a handful of the best artists in the Quarter to cover the ceilings of the clinic with something resembling the works of Da Vinci and Michelangelo.
