When morning came, Mae awoke to the gentle shake of her shoulder. Kina motioning for her to be quiet, as Nimaro was sleeping soundly behind her. With a nod of acknowledgement, Mae carefully shimmied from the bed and followed Kina out of the room.

"Sorry to have woken you, but Rah'dimah warned me that you had plans with Jasper this morning and I know you wouldn't want to be late," Kina said as they made their way into the front room of the clinic.

"Don't worry. You have plenty of time," he replied, motioning towards the table in the center of the room, a tea set properly arranged with a steaming pot in the center. "You will find a change of clothes in my room and a bottle of Fasleer in the relief closet. Leave your laundry on my bed. I'll take care of it when I have a moment. And take your time, the tea will be ready when you're finished."
