Elahemé (Mae) loved the life she shared with her husband, Jack and their dog, Koobs. She never expected that one day, she would fall into the arms of an alien, a half-blood Ech’latean, named Venificus (Ven), with explosive consequences. Carried through the Dailen Shaad, she quickly discovers that she is injured and trapped in a world that isn’t her own. "It is good to see you, Mae," Rah'dimah remarked, greeting Mae at the entrance to the Den.

"Likewise," Mae replied, stopping when she noticed Rah'dimah wasn't walking with her. "Did Jasper cause any trouble for you last night?"

"Oh, no. He was as helpful as ever, even with Nhaju stuck to his side the entire night," Rah'dimah said, before lowering her eyes and taking a deep breath. "I was hoping you could spare me a few minutes so we could continue our conversation from yesterday."
