The Light In The Dark

Farah's smile remained until she fell asleep. She can't get out from the scene where the two of them are dancing. Her heart was so happy and so she is.

She even dreamt of her and Oxoluz dancing, all day and nothing was wrong, it was just simple. Indeed what Ellenia said is true, that she needs to rest. Temporarily, she needs to make herself stronger, physically and mentally.

The sun came up and invaded Farah's room. Slowly she opened her eyes and began the day. She did her morning rituals and had breakfast with Oxoluz and Ellenia. In the middle of eating, Ellenia spoke.

"I saw something last night, something magical happened last night, magic bow below them and everything was so beautiful," she said and Oxoluz turned his gaze to Farah.

Farah did the same and their eyes met, time once again froze for Farah and her heart went wild. "Mother, let me explain, Farah and I didn't do something, we just danced," Oxoluz said and Ellenia gave them a 'what?' expression in her face.

"Excuse me? I wasn't talking about that though, I didn't know about that," Ellenia said and the two got embarrassed, they thought that is what Ellenia saw.

"I was talking about the prophecy I saw last night," Ellenia clarified and Farah nodded as her response.

Farah removed the embarrassment in her mind and asked Ellenia, "what did you see? If it's another battle, that's not actually magical."

Ellenia was about to speak and tell them what she saw, when suddenly her eyes turned black and she threw the table. The room turned black and Ellenia, she turned black as well. Farah accessed her magic to be ready but suddenly Ellenia spoke.

"He who knows nothing but darkness shall possess light in his veins and will travel fast. One thing might happen is a beginning of his new life. A Legacy about the truth on his darkness, he'll find the light in the dark."

Those words echoed in the whole room before it went back to normal. Ellenia fell on the floor so weak. "Water, now."

She drank the water and a few seconds of catching her breath she spoke to Farah, "you legend is just to begin."

What does she mean? Will this war for me last long, I'm already over it, I'm already done. "What do you mean?" Farah asked as Oxoluz carry Ellenia to her room.

"I saw the future, something good will happen, and at the same time something bad will too," Ellenia spoke and Farah nodded as a response.

"When I entered Gazaria, my powers became weak after leaving because of the spell I told you so. That is why I cannot join you on your journey. My power is now dying, I need to rest. This is my home and it stands with the magic I kept, with that everything in here will be safe, so it'll be alright if you leave me," Ellenia added and Farah knew what she is pointing out.

That her journey is just to begin and she has to be ready. "When should we leave?" Farah asked and Ellenia fixed her position in her bed before answering, "the day after tomorrow."

Farah nodded and turned her gaze to Oxoluz. She saw the looks in his eyes, they have the same feeling and thought. Farah stood up and spoke, "I'll go to my room first."

She then left the two and Ellenia looked at Oxoluz in the eyes, she said in a weak voice, "be with her, let me rest here." Oxoluz nodded as a response and left the room.

Farah's feet was moving fast without a sound, her heartbeat was raising and upon entering the room, she gupled before asking Oxoluz whom she knew is standing behind her, "why did you follow me?"

"I know what you feel, and that is why I am here," he said and Farah turned her gaze to Oxoluz.

"No! Don't pretend that you know how it feels because you don't! You don't know how it feels being someone responsible of the death of her own people," Farah said and pointed at Oxoluz before she added.

"So don't you tell me that you know for you do not. Now I am here again, I need to save them and I don't know how and I am not even confident that I can!" She yelled and fell to the ground as tears now fall from her eyes.

"All I wanted was a simple life," she added and sobbed.

Oxoluz went down on his knees and locked Farah in his arms, he whispered to Farah's ears, "we'll get through this together, and soon, we'll have our simple life— together."

"I am here Farah. I'm always here, I will not leave you," he added and slowly, Farah calmed down and stopped crying.

They looked at each other's faces. Oxoluz's hand travelled on Farah's cheeks. He was the one who wiped her tears and slowly painted a smile on the lips of the girl.

Oxoluz smiled and the next thing shocked him. Farah— Farah initiated a kiss. She kissed him and Oxoluz felt himself went hotter than ever. Only Farah can make him feel that way.

They exchanged kisses and Oxoluz slithered his tongue inside Farah's mouth. They fought each other's tongue and in a few moment, the kiss ended. "Stay with me," Farah said and chuckled.

Before answering Farah. Oxoluz kissed her temple and fixed her hair, "I have no plans of leaving you."

Soft footsteps were heard as Ysandria made her way to Erthano's throne room. She was enjoying this place. She is now the queen, not just of hell but also, Gazaria.

Her laugh echoed each time she remembers how she won against Gazaria's descendants. Ishinoya took a deep breath before realizing what have he done. "I have to set things right," he whispered to himself and turned himself invisible.

He entered the room where Ysandria is keeping all the leaders she caught; Soleil, Aexis, Thalasa, and Leviant. "It's time to set you free."
